One tiny question (about breeding)

I'm pretty new to this site (been here for 1 year) and don't know many of the rules regarding breeding. The question I want to ask is how do I breed my dragon with other players'dragons. I want to do a lineage project and it depends on this but I don't know if I can actually do it.

Dragons can only breed with others on the same scroll. It is not possible to breed your dragon with another player's.

No, it is not possible to breed your dragons with dragons from other players' scrolls. It has been suggested, but there are too many complications, I think, and it is not likely to ever happen.

You can get offspring from other people's dragons and breed them with dragons on your scroll.

You can always ask other players to breed the dragons you need.

In the trading hub you can look for breedings that you need. Lots of times you'll see people looking for bloodswaps: a dragon that's the same breeding as what they're offering to use for building a checker. Other times people will post that they're looking for something like "mate for group/######" with dragons in that group needing mates of a particular lineage.
