Fenghuo Breeding Plans!

After coming back to Dragon Cave and deciding to dip into lineage-making again, I checked the forums and was surprised to see that this hasn't been made yet. So "be the change you want to see in the world," right?

 

Anyway! I love these phoenix wyrms' colors and sprites! I think I'll be trying to pair mine with Pink Florets, Obidar Xenos, and maybe Undines.

 

In general, they seem to work well with orange-toned dragons. Orange Sonata, Rainbow Copper, and Kingcrownes also caught my eye, and I'd also imagine a Red Ushgorn lineage would look very lovely with them.

Fenghuo x Terrae (in case someone is inspired to do the same... and then swap with me next year! )

 

 

 

I really like the soft green and orange colors together, as well as the fact that their heads are tilted the same way. The Fenghuo sprite is a bit too busy compared to the Terrae, but still, I like it.

I am in with Peachies and orange touched ones, additionally I like them with Astraels Boho or actually all their other colors look pretty too imo^^

Brownish touches are not bad either, like with Hydrophidius, or Serrati, and also I was even thinking with Dark Greens (mixed in alts would be cool), just because they are flower gardens

I like them with blue or black Astraels and precog-cantormaris. They look decent with kingcrownes in an ultra-bright sort of way too.

I paired these two together for their codes and I like the result! I think it would be pretty in any color sapphire. Yellow and pink both would hit some nice tones. Would love to trade some next year if anyone else pairs their fluffy wyrms with sapphires!

If anyone would like to suffer through this pairing with me, I'm planning on doing Fenghuo x Wild Shumogas.

I think there will be a lot of earthquakes and egg deaths in my future for this lineage.

I can't do the mock-ups on my phone, but so far I'm loving them with mirisias. Very pink but with it being a much softer pink for the mirisia, I think it works really well

I haven’t bred my Fenghuos with anything yet, but I was thinking that black would be an interesting contrast.

I think Vines might make for an interesting lineage as well 🤔

The yellow sapphire offspring didn't end up looking as good as I thought it would! I'll probably try for just blue next.

You know, it's occurring to me (though I don't want it to occur to me!) that they could look good with red Alcedines...

 

Maybe Hydrophidius instead?

I like them with Elux Lucis quite a bit. Interesting contrast with their colors and accents that I feel like would look great in longer checkers.

 

I also think they'd look good with Pharos Xenos, but the first pair I tried refused so unfortunately no example of that to link yet. : (
