Would you be interested in playing a prequel set pre-Derangement, ie without all the dangerous robots and none of the robots fighting back anyway? Posted September 4, 2018 That's the same version I'm having a discussion (argument) with someone on another site who wants a prequel focused on Rost (The dude that raised Aloy). They seems to think that a world of passive robots but with Crazy Cult Men as the main enemy would be as interesting as Aloy's adventure. I think it would lose a lot of the charm. Posted September 4, 2018 Spoiler All the robots prior to the Derangement (HADES getting lose, Aloy's birth) were completely docile. The big dangerous ones like the Thunderjaws and Stalkers didn't even exist. The robots were habitually hunted but never hurt humans as GAIA was in charge. It was only when GAIA lost control that HEPHAESTUS started making the killers and the robots began to fight back. Would fighting a Stormbird still be fun if all it did was fly around and ignore you? Posted September 4, 2018 I wouldn't really be content with that unless they did a shadow of the collosus style thing. Introduced bigger more amazing robots that traversed the land and didn't go hostile until you started attacking them. God shadow of the collosus with HZD's graphics and aesthetic would be so cool.
