gamingbooknerd - The short answer is that you can go here and click on the eggs that go floating by, or go to Shops and buy special eggs there (most for gold, the site currency, and a few for shards, which are bought with real money), or go to World and complete quests that can be found at certain locations for other special eggs. The egg limit is 4 (or 6 if you buy eggs from the Donation Shop (which cost actual money)). Growth is click-based and eggs cannot die. Once your eggs hatch, you can get more.
