For easy viewing, this list is separated into categories with icons that illustrate the basic properties of each fansite. If there are other features you would like to see listed, or features you find completely unnecessary to list, please post and let us know!

Updates: You can help!
This master list will be regularly updated, adding new fansites and deleting those that no longer work.

• If a new fansite is created, please fill out the fansite form so we can add it to the list. Just use this Adding Form.
• If a fansite gets new features, goes down, or experiences other similarly significant changes, please post to let us know! That way we can keep the list as accurate as possible.

Any kind of help and input is very much appreciated! Remember, this is supposed to help you, and it can do so best if we know what you want! So please join our discussion and tell us what you think, what would help you and how you see things!

Going to see how far I can get with the major update, now. Claiming all posts, for simplicity's sake.

Edit: I've made it through the Automated and Forum posts. So far...:
* I've listed DC Focus' comic as an extra, but should we? Or is it too minimal/random to really bother listing it, given the other stuff we do/don't list for various sites already?
* Maybe I'm being blind, but where does PGS have a scroll stats banner maker, or an inbred checker? Was that an accidental copy from another site's listing?
* I've done a cursory feature check of the two forum posts. I didn't recheck if the reg-req'd and moderation parts were still accurate, and I didn't go too far into checking ER times, but I checked the rest.
* Some DC forum threads may need updating. I deleted the dead links, but did not go hunting for any new threads that may have been made.
* I'm not quite sure what to make of The Dragon Breeders Cave, which seems to be open again. I've deleted the Dragon Swamp listing (it's in a PM), since that one directs you to DBC, but then DBC directs you back to the Swamp for the hatchery/ER parts, anyhow... So, uh... Something like ERHQ, maybe, where you have to access the hatchery via the(/another) forum?

Taking a break for now; will work on some more later.
Edit 2: Working on the rest.

Edit 3: I haven't touched the Gaia post (again). It probably needs some significant updates by now, but I'm still going to leave that to you, Lily -- sorry. That site lags me like nothing else, which makes it rather worse than a chore. I've covered the rest, though. So, the remaining thoughts/questions:
* I've listed LJ's dragonspam2 under "inactive" just in case the closed membership returns to moderated (and because I forgot to outright delete it before hitting save). If it doesn't, it should be deleted in a week along with the inactive communities.
* The builder "Dragon Cave Nursery" should probably be considered inactive. However, it technically had a new page created last week... The page just doesn't seem to exist anymore. So I'm figuring we can leave that one be (WIP maybe?) for now, and if it's still looking that unused next time, we'll delete it then.
* I haven't feature-checked the non-English sites, for obvious reasons. However, the Polish forum has clearly changed, possibly reduced to a chatbox with an info-packed intro page. So we might want to try and update that sometime.
* I have activity checked the non-English sites. I have also left the inactive ones in the normal list, just with an "inactive?" marker. Should we leave them listed, to give the option of help threads and info in those languages, or delete them for inactivity like we would with English sites?

There are also a few other sites I've come across which aren't listed yet. I haven't checked any of them for specific details, though I can do so sometime later, if no one beats me to it.
* Dragon Cave Addicts Anonymous on Roliana -- should probably be grouped with Gaia, and should perhaps also list the Menewsha and Solia versions mentioned in the thread?
* The Dragon Cave on Yurrachi -- looks like it's another Gaia-type site, though I haven't looked too closely. It might be entirely forum-based, without the extra games and stuff, not sure. If it turns out to be just a random forum, it shouldn't be listed, since this is just a thread in it.
* All Adoptables -- an Italian forum for DC and other adoptables
* Spam&Uova -- another Italian forum for DC and other adoptables.
* Dragon Cave ITA -- and another Italian DC forum.
* Myths & Legends -- another Italian forum, not primarily for DC, but with an entire section devoted to it... Perhaps not appropriate for our list? I'm not sure.
* Dragon Cave Pl -- another (replacement?) Polish forum, though I'm not sure if it's just that new, or if it's too empty to even bother listing.
* Dragon Spam 5 -- another LJ community.
* Dragon Cave Hatchery -- a guestbook through Multiply, which looks like another blogging-type site?
* Dragon Cave on fanpop -- no idea where this should be listed.
* Esmerelda Lepyre's Dragon Breeding Palace -- forum thread
* Dragon Cave -- forum thread
* the Misty Mountain Forests -- forum thread -- except that it's actually already down again anyhow?
* Dragon Cave Soup -- forum thread, completed 'New Fansite' form

Well, at the old site, it does say: "WE ARE USING THE HATCHERY HERE FOR NOW BUT YOU MUST REGISTER AT THE NEW FORUM TO CONTINUE USING IT. THANKS!" and there's really no forum, just the hatchery. So I imagine it's a temporary thing? In any case, it'd be better to list the newer forum.

I'd say leave them up just for the sake of the help threads/etc. in that language.

Blind it is, then! Good to know there's another backup for the big ones.

And it looks like we agreed on the rest, so it's all set. Now we just have to see who gets to the new links first. Though I probably won't for a while, at this point -- finally working on some more updates for AoND!

I'm really sorry about leaving you two alone with this. But I'm in the middle of my final exams by now, so hardly at the forums at all...

I hope to get back to my update-duties by mid-december, when the exams are over.
