Posted January 21, 2013 I got it for my birthday last year. It's a lot darker than the Discworld novels, but still quite enjoyable. Share this post Link to post

Posted August 1, 2013 So for the first year ever, the latest TP novel will not be out in time for my birthday. I feel so lost. Share this post Link to post
Posted August 20, 2013 I adore the Discworld series; I have read them all and have an entire shelf dedicated to displaying my full collection All the books, and especially all the characters, are pure brilliant. I can honestly say that Terry Pratchett is my hero. My absolute favourite characters would be Bilious the oh god of hangovers (He's just hilarious!), Death, Commander Vimes, Seargeant Angua and Susan Sto Lat, and my favourite TP book would have to be The Hogfather. I also love The Dark Side Of The Sun, Strata, Dodger, and the Bromeliad Triology out of Terry Pratchett's non-Discworld novels Next I'll work on collecting The Science Of Discworld books, I read the first one and found it very interesting. Posted March 31, 2015 I've just recently read Reaper Man. It may be one of my new favourites (though I like all of them!). My favourite characters are probably Death and Vetinari. Also Luggage and Rincewind. Also, I just noticed that there's a font on DC you can use to type like Death does. Share this post Link to post
Posted July 13, 2015 So the final TPerry book will be out on 27 August (1 September in America). It is called The Shepherd's Crown. I'm going to pre-order as soon as I get paid. Share this post Link to post

Posted July 7, 2016 I have finished the first discworld book and now I wanna get the other 41 books , I haven't been at the bit with angua.... but why do I have a crush on her..... Share this post Link to post
Posted July 7, 2016 I freaking LOVE the discworld series! It's a perfect mix of fantasy, adventure, humour..downright ridiculousness... I remember reading my first Terry Pratchet Discworld book...and just giggling. The use of the humorous footnotes is brilliant, as well as everything else being hilarious as well. I don't think I could pick a favourite, but the ones I have read most are Reaper Man and Soul Music. Death is one of my favourite characters..and probably the favourite of many. I also love the shenanigans the Unseen University wizards get up to. Never fails to make me chuckle. "Onwards, Binky!" Share this post Link to post
Posted February 13, 2017 Have you seen the documentary "Back in Black" yet? It's been two years but I was still so sad. It's a comfort to know there are still one or two books I haven't read yet, and the ones I've read are very re-readable. He brought so much joy to the world. Share this post Link to post
Posted February 25, 2017 I love Terry Pratchett so much I created this lineage https://dragcave.net/lineage/bPyeZ I own a sibling to that egg - a Guardian dragon Named Sir Terry Pratchett Discworld. The lineage is all quotes from Terry Pratchett, if any one would like to have an egg from this lineage PM me. Share this post Link to post
Posted October 25, 2017 read Hogfather a few weeks ago and it very good, especially when you have a movie version of it when you get lost sometimes. so far I have adopted Terry's humour into my own life (to the annoyance of my Mother and sister) Share this post Link to post
Posted November 17, 2017 I've loved Terry Pratchett for so long. The humor is the best and I'm trying to read all of his books. I've read 90% of the Discworld books as well as the Johnny Maxwell trilogy (and Good Omens <3 ). Share this post Link to post
Posted December 4, 2017 It's one of the series that changed my life and probably made me a better person. Read all of them, except for Shepherd's Crown. I'm honestly avoiding reading it, because that's it. The end., Share this post Link to post
