You have tried clearing your cache, I'm guessing ? (No it is not supposed to be like that.)

I'm experiencing similar flickering on pc using Edge and Chrome. The only reason I tried those two is because on Firefox it doesn't work at all:

 

 

Cache clearing did not help. Curiously enough, mobile (also firefox) is the only one working for me. Buttery smooth that one.

Mine flickers from time to time and is stuck on the intro dialogue window which I can't close. The character won't move too

Imp[obably mine - Windows 7, outdated Opera (because it can't update within Windows 7 !) - is fine. Things so often DON'T work on mine because of the age, I am agreeably surprised 1
