My egg just auto abandoned

This part of your screen shows you have 7 of 7 allowed eggs.

I only see 5 eggs, though.

Do you perhaps have dead eggs somewhere that are still counting toward that total?

I can't see more than 4 eggs thoughoine in that image has hatched - but was it a valentine or a celestial/painted ray ? if you didn't choose which of a batch to keep, they all abandon.

It's hard for any of us to figure it out so many days later and without being able to see the timers of all your growing things, but my guess would be that two eggs hatched. If you checked the limits page, then checked your scroll and two eggs were at 4 days or less with enough views, that would have triggered them to hatch. So if any of the hatchlings on your scroll at the time had exactly 7 days left, that would most likely be the case. By now that'll be impossible to check though.
