PROXY???

What does this mean????

There's a message on my egg:

"You appear to be using a proxy." etc

This is known to happen sometimes, where you get mistakenly flagged as using a proxy service.  In these cases it seems to resolve itself within a few days and there isn't, unfortunately, anything you can do.  Unless you are using a proxy intentionally or a VPN (IIRC those can cause the flagging as well) and in that case you'd have to stop doing so.

 

If it doesn't resolve within a few days, it may be something you have to contact your ISP about because it might be something on their end?  I'm not sure if anybody's ever resolved this themselves, all the other times I've seen people run into it, it just fixes itself on it's own after a little while...
