Posted July 1, 2021 How can you tell a Pennybright copper from a Rainbow copper? They look identical to me. I have an egg growing now that I hope is a Pennybright, but I won't be sure till it grows up. Share this post Link to post

Posted July 1, 2021 (edited) If you do not have other Coppers, there is another way to tell that Ruby Eyes shared with me. It is a bit more complicated, but should give you a definite answer. Quote Go to the egg's view page. Open the Copper Encyclopedia page in a new tab. Right-click the egg's image from its view page and check the image information (namely, the file name). Right-click the eggs' images in the Encyclopedia page and check their file information (file name). If the last row's file name matches your egg's file name, it's a new one.
