ANSWERED:why are some Trading threads locked?

Why is this happening? I don't see any posts abt this.

The trading threads that are locked are being cleaned, as stated in the last post on each locked thread. Many of those threads are verrrry long and have many posts from as far back as last year that simply aren't relevant anymore, so they are being cleaned out.

I didn't see anything about cleaning. Good to know. The DC community giveaway thread just had an error message, no posts at all.

That's odd. I click on it and can see the posts. The last post in the thread is one by purpledragonclaw saying she has closed it for cleaning.

You might have been trying to view a post I've cleaned out. The Community Giveaway thread is the only one that's locked for cleaning, though. The rest are closed as duplicates, spam, or had their questions answered.
