Posted July 26, 2014 (edited) We have a topic for favorites of the Completed List, so I figured it'd be a great idea to make a thread for favorite Dragon Requests as well. What are your favorite in-progress breeds, either concept or art-wise? Which ones have you been stalking, lurking in, or offering to help out? Are there any concepts you've been itching to see moved to the Completed section and into the Cave? Are there any lineage projects you're planning, but can't start because one or more of the dragons involved isn't even finished yet? Please, share! ***Remember, this thread is intended to be positive. While you may not agree with someone's favorites, please keep those thoughts out of the thread and try to focus on your own favorites. Posted July 26, 2014 (edited) I don't usually browse that section since I don't want to get attached to concepts that are abandoned before they're completed (I'm a habitual completed requests section reader, though!), but I went through a few pages and the (outdated) progress list now to see if anything struck a chord with me. I found quite a few things! So thanks for making me look While it looks like it isn't being worked on any more, the Crystal-Trapped Dragon is a deliciously creepy concept. I found myself wondering if they'd have to be hatched at the 4d mark to even get out of their egg, because of "The egg will be partly covered with growing crystals and the hatchlings, having 'escaped' the egg before it was fully encased" description. That would be unusual and exciting. Potentially frustrating as well, so probably not feasible, but I can dream. As a dinosaur nut, I need to give props to the Thricehorn Dragon. The Mistletoe Dragon has gorgeous sketches. The Natural Disaster Dragons look interesting - especially the tornado variant! Then there's the Masked Dragon, though I'm not sure if the mask is going to be obvious enough in the final adult sprites to really shine. But whatever, the concept is fun. The Tarn Dragons look adorable! The Extrasensory Dragons are dropdead gorgeous - though they do have the benefit of being very far into the spriting process! Gosh. Such want, though. All of it.
