Posted September 23, 2012 Actually he might have had a middle name. It just wasn't recorded. He was certainly baptised without one. Not that that is conclusive. His baptismal record is in Latin and translates as William Shakespeare. His name at one point appears in Latin and translated, it's William of John Shakespeare, but this is not HIS middle name.
