Hidden behind the trusty outcrop, the flying food missiles hit the outcrop and not the two friends. When the missiles quit hitting, DB pops up and lobs a handful or 3 of Tootsie Roll pops at their attackers.

 

Hands D one of the two she kept and unwraps hers, pops it into her mouth.
