DC Photography Contest #45

Recommended Posts

Thank you once again to everyone who voted for my photo. smile.gif

This time, the theme is "Youth".

It can be anything connected to "Youth", like photos of young people, things/objects of your childhood, games children/young people play, places like playgrounds, etc...

Please no photos of baby animals, it should be people related. wink.gif

Example:

Hope everyone gets the idea and have fun dusting off your old toys. biggrin.gif

The Rules:

- One entry per person

- Picture has to be made by yourself and can't be just a reproduction of someone's work. If someone else's work is in the picture, there needs to be something extra.

- No manipulation besides basic photo adjustments (contrast, exposure, cropping, color balance, lighting, etc.)

- No text or framing in the photo. A signature/watermark is just fine, but it's preferable if you don't have "O Hai Eye Hav3 T3XT" (or something similar) present in the photo.

- When voting, please don't select your own image. This will ensure fairness.

- You are free to submit an old photo; you don't need to take a new one just for this competition.

Here is my entry. My own children, not even caring they've been caught and photographed in the act of doing something they shouldn't, but was just too much fun!

I love the colours in the second one but the first has a lovely composition. i'd probably go with the first.

Love the flying hair in yours, CornSerpent!

Not liking children means I don't have anything for this.

@aerouant: definitely traditional 2

@St. Jimmy: I think I prefer 'At the End of the Tunnel' or 'Dizzy' for this theme, as they are more obvious children's playthings. The others are very nice pics too, though!

My entry: Susanne

I chose her myself when I was 1 1/2 years old, and we were visiting my grandparents. She's a dear old friend biggrin.gif

I think I have something I can enter.

Food Fight!

My sister and I got into a food fight, wherein she got a bagel shoved into her forehead. :3

Would a toy count? Because I have one picture that might just scrape by...

The Cube

I played with it when I was young anyways ^.^ I don't think I have any that come close to being in this category other than that though...

Or what about youthful, faddish shoes?

Converse

Either of those count? tongue.gif
