I've gone and done it. Made my sprite animation with a santa hat and striped scarf.

 

Can't believe it actually worked. Didn't think I could have pulled it off to be honest.

Switched to the one I used last year, at least for the moment. Perhaps I'll come up with something better, who knows.. If I don't, I am sure I'll survive with this one for another season anyway

Okay, here's mine! Took the image I originally had, and, after messing with Paint, (and a quick stop at Photobucket), I now has a very sparkly, Christmas themed avatar!

Sooo, will this do? I've only got Paint, so I can't do anything fancy, but I did try to make it look like he was swinging the sword.

Done completely in free hand, and saved in PNG, since I read that that's the best format to save sprites in.

So, yeah, you like?
