Aspect of Soul from Vermeil! Woo!

My Aspect of Mana grew up and I bred it to a Rosebud, and got a gen 3 Aspect of Soul.

Maybe it's sorting as "Guardian of Nature 2: Electric Boogaloo".

Idk but I used Fertility on mine.

Brought a screenshot for proof. I like this pairing, it looks good.

It should probably not be much of a surprise, but I got an Aspect of Mana from pairing my Warden to one of my blue Arcanas :3

My only "problem" with this new breed is that since they're male-only we'll never have a male Silver lineage with them. I really love them!

I deliberately made the sprites a bit larger than I'd normally do for a pygmy so I had more room to detail the textures. I didn't think the 'wow factor' that a holiday breed really ought to have would come across on a micro-pygmy like Crimson Flare size, you know? And pumpkins are very 'zoomed in' so I thought okay well there's precedent. It worked out, which I'm very glad for!

So glad you all seem to like them! I got seized by inspiration last year and made these, and they were way too fun to not resubmit. They're supposed to resemble sour gummy worms on the back and regular ones on the belly!

That's fair, but we get a lot of horror themed Halloweens and I think it's important to acknowledge that that's not all there is to the holiday. It'd be no fun if it was all tricks all the time with no treats! I'm sure next year's will be more your vibe.

Okay okay. I didn't specifically go "don't let them breed with other Lunates", I just aesthetically and conceptually preferred 'gender marked as unknown but they can breed with both dw about it' (after consulting a couple friends). If that means they can't breed with their own kind in captivity due to a quirk of the way the site is coded then like. That's very funny?

I'll mention that the Pastels and the intersex gender marker were not a thing when I concepted the Lunates.

I'll admit, I didn't always 'get' people being nonbinary, especially when I was a pretty sheltered teen, but I've made some really good friends who are and who've taught me a lot about the world, and once it made sense to me I wanted to wholeheartedly support them. These dragons are my tribute to my enby friends!

Yay, we have adults! The Lunates are in fact based off the nonbinary pride flag! Plus the purple splots on the yellow section also vaguely evoke intersex flag, which wasn't originally my intent but I was very pleased to notice. I started with the idea of 'pride moth' as a pun and elaborated out from there: batlike wyvern to make the insectlike features not take it too far from 'dragon', big eyespots on the frills to be vaguely reminiscent of like, Mothra, and the description doesn't reference their reproduction/gender because they're ordinary dragons like any other that just happen to not fall into a male/female dichotomy. As for how that plays out mechanically? You'll just have to wait and see
