Posted February 22 I have an alert in my notifications stating: Quote You have turned on push notifications, but push notifications are not enabled in this browser. But they are actually allowed (see screenshot). What am I missing here? This is on Firefox. Thanks for the help! Share this post Link to post
Posted February 22 (edited) You can see the x there... The block seems to be in your Firefox settings. You seem to have to enable each individual site. https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/push-notifications-firefox?as=u&utm_source=inproduct From that help page: Quote Web Push allows websites to notify you of new messages or updated content. While Firefox is open, websites which have been granted permission can send notifications to your browser, which displays them on the screen. Notifications only display when you press a key on your keyboard or tap/click anywhere on the website that you are accessing. If you have not interacted with the website, then the Notification permission icon will only display in the address bar; the actual notification will not display. You can easily allow or disable notifications and control how they appear. Edited February 22 by Fuzzbucket Share this post Link to post
Posted February 22 If you click on "Notification Settings" as the message suggests, there will be a button to enable push notifications in that specific browser. Granting permission is only one part of the process. Share this post Link to post
