Posted December 16, 2018 (edited) However, the option to log in doesn't really stop other people from putting your stuff into a hatchery, or does it? All it does is make things more complicated for the hatchery owners/coders. Unless, of course, there's a tie-in with the accepting aid status you put your scroll on, and that checking for just that (and requiring a log-in for scrolls that do not accept aid) is mandatory for each hatchery if they want access to DC's API. Otherwise, it's just a waste of coding time and log-in time while reaping no benefit at all. As far as I can tell, the greatest risk for losing your eggs isn't a personalized attack, it's attacks on hatcheries. Edited December 16, 2018 by olympe Share this post Link to post
Posted December 16, 2018 By "option to log in" I mean "option to require logins on your scroll on a hatchery". Again, not that I think people putting stuff in hatcheries is the main issue in viewbombing. Share this post Link to post
