Posted April 18, 2016 I worked late last night, so "dinner" was a cup of Soylent. Soylent: No, it's not made from people. It's a powdered food, 100% nutrition for humans, basically "adult baby formula" - and it's my go-to for meals at work. 2 scoops Soylent + 4 scoops water = about 2 "meals" worth. Mix, pour, drink. Once mixed, it lasts in the fridge for a day or two. If I mixed the whole packet at a time, and filled the whole pitcher they provide, I'd make 2000 calories worth of the stuff but I never eat that much! (I only need around 1200 calories a day) Usually I just have 250-300 calories worth of it as a meal. So a single pouch easily lasts me over a week. It's convenient, and a bit healthier than the typical work foods I'd bring... as for taste, it is tolerable. I wouldn't call it "good" but it tastes about as you'd imagine almond flour mixed with water to taste. It's not horrid. Share this post Link to post
