Story

"The Council is corrupt, they are brainwashing everyone and preventing a happy life. Do not come to Havelia. You will not receive eternal happiness. I repeat, do not come to Havelia."

...is what a Heraldist would say. But these words are simply untrue and wrong. I'll start from the beginning.

The Dragons were forced out of Earth during the 1500's when humans started fearing and hunting them. The wisest and most powerful Guardian of Nature used all of its power to locate an inhabitable world and transported all the dragons there. The lands were a luscious green and the water was clean and pure. This was a safe haven for the dragons and so they named it, Havelia. The lands were overrun with cockroaches at first so it was surprising the world hadn't been named after cockroaches. But this small problem was taken care of after intense exterminating.

Of course, there were dragons with malicious intent that wanted to take over Havelia for themselves. The most power-hungry of these ill-meaning dragons being a female Hellfire Wyvern, Rellik. Rellik wanted total control over Havelia and gathered a dragon army with the promise of comfort in a new world dominated by evil. Some were tricked, some were forced by being brainwashed, and others just joined because they wanted to.

Rellik and her army, Khaos, unleashed their fury onto the unsuspecting dragons and took over most of the world. It was all going according to plan until a band of heroes with unique talents led by Silverman, a Royal Blue dragon, stood in Khaos's way. They called themselves Heavangels and they promised to stop Rellik and her army. After years of bitter fighting, losses and grief, the Heavangels defeated Khaos and reclaimed Havelia for everyone. They formed a Council where only the wisest and noblest could join. The Council held significant influence on Havelia and shaped the history of it, leading the land to greatness and prosperity with an endless era of peace. But with righteous decisions comes those who oppose it...

A few centuries after the defeat of Rellik, a small handful of dragons led by a Black Dragon named Acnologia threatened the peace of the world and made several attempts to bring down the Council. They called themselves Heraldic and started to fight the Council, taking a quarter of the lands for themselves. The army tried to stop Heraldic before they could do any damage but the army was not fit for fighting the group, which was a fluid network that moved at a surprisingly fast rate. The Council could not sit back as Heraldic took the lives of many and attacked the innocent, so they formed a group of their own. The group only took the best and the most-talented fighters to take down Heraldic. Consisting mostly of army dragons and a small number of civillians, the group was called Fable.

You are a hatchling that has joined the Council's cause to stop Heraldic and their evil ways. As a member of Fable, you must join forces with others like yourself and learn to trust one another to turn Havelia into the peaceful land it once was.

Map

Havelia consists of four major continents.

Utope: the mainland and the biggest continent where the major capital, Hevan is.

Paradice: the second-biggest continent, a resort with beautiful structures and views.

Lorasia: the smallest continent but the biggest island. It is the only continent outside the Council's control and it is rumoured to be where the HQ of Heraldic is located.

Finally, Menap: a frozen wasteland at the top of the world that houses almost no dragons except the ones adapted to the cold.

Utope has some areas the Council deems undesirable such as the Great Desert to the north of the continent, and the Death Jungle, where it is so dense that most dragons do not wish to inhabit it. The jungle is filled with inedible foilage and poisonous fruits. Utope is by far the most advanced and the most populated island with habitats fit for every single species of dragon.

Paradice is the most beautiful of the islands and is a popular holiday destination, but it also holds the biggest prison of the four islands.

Lorasia is mostly just forest and is on the other side of the world from Utope. It has a large coastal line to the south and to the north. Towards the west of Lorasia is a mountainous region with small volcanoes. The volcanoes are so weak and far away from the forest that they are not a concern.

Menap is where the Christmas Dragons and the Guardian of Nature is believed to live in. Not much is known about this place.

Classes

The classes in Fable are

Soldiers - The most primary yet the most crucial part of the brigade. The soldiers handle most of the fighting and are the first line of defence and offence for Fable. They must be well trained and be able to withstand force since they are often the ones to take powerful attacks.

Sorcerers - The sorcerers handle offensive magic and are skilled in their work. They cast spells that can potentially cripple the enemy and cause a turn of tables in a battle. All magi have a source of power whether it be the heat of a fire or stellar energy.

Medics - Medics handle support magic, helping the injured and keeping the whole army healthy. Without them, a battle could end easily and very quickly with devastating results.

Conductors - Conductors decide and conduct the flow of battle. A mistake on a Conductor's part may cause the whole army to suffer heavy losses in both supplies and soldiers. Therefore, all Conductors must come to an unanimous decision before taking action. They must be skilful and wise but very cautious.

Ranks

This is a less important sub-category that Fable uses. There are only three major ranks and most of the time, the ranks are not important to the plot.

Battlists - The majority of the group belong in this category and most will stay a soldier for the rest of their time at Fable.

Fabled - This is more of a title than a rank. It is a title only given to Battlists who are tremendously skilled in their area of expertise and have survived many battles. It is an honourable title that has only been given seven times. They are, in order of date that the title Fabled was given;

Rider, The Wolf Slayer

Gold, The Beast Tamer

Cinder, The Wish Maiden

Robin, The Sharpshooter

Ice Blue, The Nightingale

Gresel, The Two Minds

Malice, The Poison

Tutors - Tutors, like their name suggests, teach the hatchlings in their classes and are skilled in what they do. They are normally too old to be fabled but are still great at what they teach nevertheless. In the story, there will only be four main trainers and they will be the ones training the hatchlings.

Commander - These are NPCs and probably never will appear in the story, they are there just in case there is ever a need of one in the plot.

Tutors:

Aqurias - Male Tsunami Dragon - Soldier Tutor

Minegi - Male Magi Dragon - Sorcerer Tutor

Saturnius - Female Red Dragon - Medic Tutor [Jass]

Lion - Female Pillow Dragon - Conductor Tutor [Doctortear]

Tutors can be claimed by anyone. But a 2 week inactivity without reason will cause the trainer to be freed of your claim.

Forum Name: Doctortear

Dragon Name: Nymph Blair

Breed: Terrae

Gender: Female

Image: user posted image

Appearance: In exchange for elegance and beauty, Nymph has gained incredible size making her ever larger than her gigantic breed's standards. Along with her lumbering mass, Nymph has a collection of muscles knitted throughout her body. These bulging patches of flesh are quite unattractive but have a sense of power about them. Despite her repugnant image, Nymph does has more normal characteristics. Her light green body is mottled in forest green with large spots gathering near her muscles. Her body has a brawny build and her legs are burly. Her tail is chubby and looks more like a fat stick than a finely long whip. Her horns are thick with blunt edges and sharp narrowed down tips. Swirling rich hues of brown dance in her caramel eyes. Old scars maim her body, but only make her look all the more tenacious when seen stretched upon her muscular form. Her body can easily be considered hideous and absolutely repulsive. However, just like her sisters, Nymph has a gentle and light voice. This melodic voice is that of a fair soul and does not in any shape or form match Nymph's atrocious body. The clash between her voice and body can easily startle anyone who sees her disgusting appearance and listens to her beautiful voice.

Personality: Nymph is a kind soul trapped within a hell she did not reckon. She is generous to those around her and is always courtesy, putting others before herself. She tends to be friendly with just about everyone she meets and does her best to be polite, even if said person was an enemy. She is no lover of unnecessary arguments and does her best to try and keep the group together. She acts as a moral compass, doing her best to push people in the right direction. Nymph is naive and will easily believe a lie she deems the truth. Although she may act jolly when on good terms with someone, she can easily turn sour when someone turns against her. Although cordial in heart, Nymph is still a product of war. She is not afraid to take down her enemies and will not hesitate to kill when commanded. She does tend to sympathize with foes who had a tragic story to tell, but, she will, in the end, to what she was ordered to do. Nymph's sense of loyalty is greater than what one may expect. If she has sworn herself to someone or a cause, she will be incredibly stubborn when it comes to breaking that pledge. Despite her devotion to others, she is willing to make friends with those on the enemy line. Nymph believes that she should treat all people equally, even if they are the enemy. Relationships with others on the enemy line may last longer than they should thanks to Nymph oddly enough being a superb liar. However, should an enemy friend of hers do something to hurt her or something or someone she swore her duty to, Nymph will not balk to attack her ex-friend and even kill them if necessary.

History: Although born in a clutch of four eggs with siblings just as kind as her, Nymph was never truly loved by her family. Her three sisters were angelic both outside and inside and received only praise and care from their parents. They were all talented in their own respects and proved to be successful in their departments. Nymph, on the other hand, was nothing like her sisters. She was just as beautiful as them on the inside, but her ugliness deterred the people around her from interacting with her. Nymph's parents were, unfortunately, biased and turned their backs against their hideous offspring. They gave her the proper care she needed, but nothing beyond that. Nymph was seen as the abnormal freak who was bigger than anyone else her age and held scars from fights dealt between her and the ever persistent bullies. Nymph, even through her hellish life, managed to keep a smile on her face. Although still grinning, Nymph, after the years of torture, began to feel herself crack. She was going to snap, but when, where, and how was unknown to her. All she had to do was keep smiling and then everything would be a-okay. When recruiting for the war came, Nymph's parents urged her heavily to sign up. Seeing an opportunity to use her strength to help others, Nymph joined right away and has been training ever since.

Weapons: Nymph's horns, like the rest of her body, are larger than usual. They have blunt edges and sharp tips, making them efficient weapons. Her claws are filed to act as small knifes and her teeth and tail can easily be used as weapons as well.

Abilities: Nymph's lumbering size isn't for show. She is a enormous creature with massive strength that will only grow with age. Although she is slow thanks to the burden of her muscles, she can release devastating attacks. If she manages to catch an enemy, Nymph can squash them with ease. Nymph's strength doesn't necessarily have to be used for fighting. Her muscles are perfect for lending her the strength to push heavy objects and weigh things down. Along with her strength, she has the uncanny ability to mimic other peoples' powers. She can fully replicate whatever power the person she is mimicking has. There is no draw backs to her power gain and she can fully utilize the power given to her until she decides to get rid of it. There is one condition to this however. The person she wants to mimic must agree to let her replicate the power. Without their consent, she cannot copy their power. Nymph's tendency to make friends with anyone she can helps her with this process. She will try not to befriend someone to just use their power, but if she ordered to do so she will bring out the best of he charm to obtain a useful ability.

Other: Nymph has a love for sun bathing and fresh greens.

Forum Name: Jass

Dragon Name: Juneeculus Coraellee (Or just 'Jun' for short)

Breed: Glaucus Drake

Gender: Male

Image: user posted image

Appearance: Juneeculus slightly has pale blue scales instead of white with sky-blue eyes.

Personality: Juneeculus is a friendly hatchling, although he's extremely competitive against others when it comes to contests and games. He likes to deem other hatchlings as rivals before miserably losing at the easiest games he challenges them. (He's not very good at them, really.) However, this only adds fuel to his fire, as he'll continue to try and challenge them again and again, hoping to at least win one time (Which ultimately fails). His best subject is fighting, but it's ironically his least favorite subject at. He's a hot tempered hatchling, and easily gets angry at something/someone. Still, this will also add fuel to his fire, as winning against something which made him angry is an accomplishment, at least to him. Juneeculus is also very stubborn, and refuses to do certain things at times, even if an adult ordered him to do it. He's unfortunately careless, which means that he'll often forget certain things and hurt himself often.

History: Juneeculus's parents were thrilled to see that they had finally bared a son after years and years of breeding, as most of the time, they bared no eggs or it was miscarried for some unfortunate reason. They did their best to take care of him and grant him the best chance for him to thrive as an adult.

Juneeculus was grateful for this, but he can't help but feel bad for them, as his parents never really received anything in return for taking care of him. So, he decided that he would join the army to hopefully have his parents feel proud that they raised him.

Weapons: His only natural weapon is probably his teeth and claws used to scratch and bite at. He'll need to use a spear or some other sort of weapon.

Abilities: His fighting skills are all he pretty much has, which envies him a lot, seeing how many other hatchlings seemed to have special abilities.

Class: Soldier

Love Interest: He's Open. None.

Dragon Name: Fortis

Breed: Royal Crimson

Gender: Male

Image: user posted image

Appearance: Fortis is large, but not bulky. It's simply his frame that gives him a large size. In terms of colouration and other details, though he's quite normal.

Personality: The opposite of self-aware. Fortis thinks of himself as a poor fighter, when he's quite capable in reality. He thinks of himself as dim, yet it's his quick thinking and instinct that makes him such a good fighter. He often tries to keep himself away from life's simpler pleasures, causing him to struggle with desires. He limits his eating, sleeping, and anything related to personal pleasure, causing overindulgence when his self-control wears thin. Because of these pleasure-binges, he thinks that he's overly vain, and struggles to keep himself from being noticed or being outstanding in any way.

History: Fortis was hatched in a normal family, but though he was loved, his purpose in life was always to join Fable. As soon as he was old enough to be trained, he was harshly disciplined and taught to faithfully serve Havelia until the day he died. Before he was truly ready, he was enlisted to train at one of Fable's bases.

Weapons: His large feet are excellent for clubbing opposing dragons, and his tail is capable of keeping several away from him at once. Overall, though, Fortis relies on his superior size in battle.

Abilities: In the middle of a fight, his mind sharpens and his instinct is nearly unmatched.

Sorcerers

Forum Name: Psycho Cat

Dragon Name: Luxiphere

Breed: Sunsong Amphiptere

Gender: Female

Image: user posted image

Appearance: Normal Sunsong

Personality: Luxiphere has an air of elegance about her. She often believes she is better than most, with the even the greatest accomplishments rarely amazing her. She takes great pride in what she does, with little mistakes crushing her. Often if you insult her she'll go all out on you, turning you into more of a personal punching bag. That said, Luxiphere loves anything and everything shiny or beautiful, Gold Dragons especially. Somewhere she has a little pot of shimmery scales, feathers, and rocks she has found over time, but she's yet to reveal its location.

Weapons: Teeth or constriction.

Abilities: Luxiphere can bend light to her will, using it as either offensive magic or creating illusions with it. She cannot use true hypnosis, but she can cause hallucinations that make people do unintended things, often benefiting the Sunsong Hatchling in the process.

Class: Sorcerer

Love Interest: None, but open.

Other:

Forum Name: Avarule

Dragon Name: Barica

Breed: Shallow Water Dragon

Gender: Male

Image: user posted image

Appearance: He's bit chubby.

Personality: Barica is extremely friendly and gullible. If another hatchling or dragon agreed to be his friend he would follow them to the ends of the earth and back, even if their intentions were impure. Barica becomes very distressed when his friends fight and always tries to help them make up, though his attempts usually just make things worse. He has little to no control over his powers, so it's not uncommon for him to accidentally levitate, teleport or otherwise mess with small inanimate objects in his vicinity.

History: Barica's parents were a magically deficient water dragon and an extremely powerful magi dragon, both of which died in the war. The sudden loss of his only known family left the shallow water dragon with abandonment issues, which is why he's so clingy and bent on staying close to his friends. The strange combination of weak control from his mother and raw power from his father makes Barica a very, very bad mage, although when under extreme pressure he is capable of unleashing devastating magical attacks.

Weapons: He prefers to use his teeth and tail since his webbed feet make scratching things extremely difficult. Sometimes he'll use magic, but it almost always backfires.

Abilities: Teleportation and levitation of things smaller than himself, most often by accident. He can also occasionally disintegrate inanimate objects, but he has to be extremely focused and looking directly at them.

Class: Sorcerer

Love Interest: Open, but he's as oblivious as a rock.

Other:

Forum Name: Razzyy

Dragon Name: Krion

Breed: Royal Blue Dragon

Gender: Male

Image: user posted image

Appearance: Very similar to a regular Royal Blue, except his horns have a tip of gold on it from his lineage.

Personality: Krion is shy, but quick to stand up for his friends. A bit on the weird side of things, usually coming up with solutions first. Krion becomes serious during battle, very serious.

History: His father was a Royal Blue, and his mother was a Gold Shimmerscale. He was born in Paradice then flown on the back of his father to the Councils 'army'.

Weapons: Teeth, claws, tail, and horns.

Abilities: Skilled in fighting, or will be, and uses the moon to fight. Can self heal himself using the moons power.

Class: Sorcerer.

Love Interest: None, yet. wink.gif

Other: The moons light causes Krions runes to burst into a silvery fire (Usually only burning around 2-3 inches off of his runes), which empowers his fighting skills, such as his teeth or claws, and healing, and heightens his senses. Although using the moon drains Krion and he needs to sleep longer.

Medics

Forum Name: Durppie

Dragon Name: Finxley

Breed: Vampire

Gender: Male

Image: user posted image

Appearance: He is kind of buff for a vampire hatchling. Also, if you look closely, you'll see spots of gray on him. When he matures, his muscles will become even more noticeable.

Personality: Finxley is impatient and likes things to be done NOW. The hatchling won't throw a hissy fit if things aren't done NOW NOW NOW as he thinks it's rude, but he will get very jittery. He also wants to be liked by others, and may (and will) do things that are beyond his capabilities in order to feel accepted. Finxley speaks slowly and cautiously with frequent pauses so that he hopefully says the right thing. In times of tension, he may start to drop the f-bombs (censorkip.gif) in a forcefully casual way. An easy way to make him upset is to say things about his species.

History: Finxley's egg was originally that of a Stone Dragon's. His egg was stolen by a desperate Vampire Dragon whose many other bite attempts had failed. The latter resented being forced to have descendants by this method, but wanted a child more than anything. Finxley's bite father was so focused on this, that he forgot to cover up his tracks. The eggnapper was apprehended, but the egg was already bitten. Despite this, Finxley's parents decided to take back the egg and raise their child.

When he hatched and lived with his parents, Finxley could tell that his parents were frustrated and sad a lot of the time for when they were raising him. He quickly realized that he was very different from his Stone mother and White father, and guessed that this was why they seemed unhappy even when they spoke to him cheerfully. He decided that in order to make them proud, he would help fight against the Heraldists. And since he had picked up a little bit of magic from his father, he would go as a Medic.

Weapons: His horns, claws, teeth, and tail.

Abilities: He can speed up the healing rate of wounds, be the wounded right next to him or off in the distance. For example, a wound that would take a day to heal would be completely done in around 10 minutes. This takes a toll on his energy, and he will get increasingly fatigued and make unwise judgements with repetitive use. He may even drop into a coma if he pushes his abilities too far. And Finxley has to be able to see the dragon.

Class: Medic

Love Interest: None, but open.

Forum Name: Doctortear

Dragon Name: Cerberus "Cera" Ezhno

Breed: Sunstone

Gender: Male

Image: user posted image

Appearance: Cerberus, while not someone to stand out in a crowd, slightly differs with his breed when it comes to appearance. His scales are stained a bright crimson with tints of scarlet swirling within her hide. He has a lean build but isn't overly slim. His legs are long and slender, making him a rather tall individual. His tail is thick and has a length that could only be considered average at best. Cera's eyes are a rich bronze with a twinkle of mischief behind them. Short curved horns protrude from the top of his head. Cera's most differing factor is his stone. The "sunstone" that resides at the end of his tail is massive. The amber colored gem is perfectly oval with beautiful curves. Inside of the gem, warm colors dance within it, moving about slowly and rushing into to each other. Oranges, reds, and yellows of all hues and shades churn about in his stone. The stone itself is quite a brilliant gem. It's shiny surface gleams in the sunlight and a soft radiant glow emits from it at all times. Cera's stone's gargantuan size encumbers the poor Sunstone. His back is usually arched as he attempts to load around his burdening gem. This gives Cerberus his distinctive walk which many could easily mistake to be the prowl of someone who has recently been upset.

Personality: Cerberus is a rugged fellow. He is not afraid to lash out with his tongue and often expects others to handle what he deals out. Cera rather fancies getting into heated arguments, but he adores seeing others fight. He'll often be the one to edge someone on or encourage his peers to quarrel among each other. Although he does like to brawl or watch others do so, Cera knows his limit and will actively try to end arguments if they get out of hand and turn towards physical violence. Sarcasm is one of Cerberus's favorite tools. Should someone ask him a question he would deem obvious, rudeness will spew out of his mouth in a crude nature. Cera is intolerant to those who act as though they don't know what they're doing and highly prefers to work with professionals. He can efficiently come of as someone who dislikes everyone around him which, in truth, isn't exactly false. Cerberus is stern with strangers and prefers not to deal with them. He is not someone who can easily be befriended and requires peers to try hard in order to get on his good side.  Cerberus can be quite cavalier and will boast about himself when he can. This haughty nature is nonexistent to those he is close with as they know Cera can doubt himself quite easily. To those who are close to him, which are not many, Cera is quite different. Not only does he have a sweet and loving side for those he cares about, but Cera is full of fear for both the war and himself. He is skeptical his peculiar power will be useful. He loathes his power and wishes that he could relinquish it. Cerberus doesn't understand his power and fears what might happen if something went terribly wrong.

History: Cerberus was born into a warrior family that valued fighting ability above all else. His lineage was full of brutality with just about every member either being an outlaw or a famed fighter of some sort. Cera's brothers were burly beasts with grand muscles and his sisters were sinewy creatures with cunning minds. All of Cera's siblings met up to their parents expectations, but, alas, Cerberus himself did not. Although it was not uncommon for a strange power to posses a hatchling in his lineage, Cerberus found himself to be, seemingly, the only one in his entire family with the ability to heal. His parents were outraged. A stain on their perfect lineage was something not looked upon lightly. Cera's father accused his mother of having an affair with someone else and vice versa. The family soon became strained with the parents separating from each other and moving to new partners. While all of his siblings were taken in the care of his mother, Cerberus found himself being raised by his father. His life was not an easy one. Every little mistake he made and everything he did say or didn't do was good enough to award him a punishment. Cerberus grew up loathing his power with all his being and wishing only to be normal like the rest of his family. When the war came and recruits were called in, Cerberus signed up as soon as he could. He had hoped to be placed as a soldier but, to his dismay, was instead placed as a medic. Although reluctant, Cerberus began to study under a trainer and prepared to learn how to use the power he had hated his entire life.

Weapons: The short curved horns at the top of his head are a great for close combat. Although blunt, they can still do some damage to a foe. His claws prove to also be sufficient while fighting, however, because they are filed down, they aren't exactly the best weapon.

Abilities: Cerberus has the ability to heal via the stone on his tail. A bright hearth like glow shines off of it as it heals and dims down to a soft illumination whenever a healing process is done. His stone has its limits and cannot exceed that powers of that of a more powerful healing breed such as a White. In addition to his healing power, Cerberus has basic knowledge of herbs and training in self defense taught to him by his strict father.

Class: Medic

Love Interest: None, yet

Other: Cerberus has erythrophobia.

Forum Name: MrSpyro

Dragon Name: Aether

Breed: Soulpeace

Gender: Male

Image: user posted image

Appearance: Same as all Soulpeace dragons, but a bit smaller.

Personality: He's very kind and compassionate; he's the first to help anyone who needs it, unless it involves killing, something he hates doing. Aether is especially compasionate to vampire dragons, he feels bad for them because they can't breed. He is also pretty studious, and knows a lot about healing magic. However, it isn't hard to hurt him emotionally and when someone picks on him, he becomes introverted, grumpy, and rude.

History: A somewhat long time ago, a Fable white dragon medic and a Heraldic daydream dragon healer were exploring an area and bumped into each other. The would have killed each other on the spot, but they didn't. Not because they were lacking in combat skills and offensive magic, but because they were in love at first sight. The two dragons, who went into the area a lot, would find each other and talk for hours. They eventually fell so deep in love, that they bred and the White dragon laid two soulpeace eggs. They realized that things could go seriously wrong, as both dragons' friends were becoming suspicious. So, both the white dragon and the daydream dragon took an egg to their respective base (claiming that they found the egg) and never saw their loved ones again. However, almost all of the dragons were suspicious of what Aurielle (The white one) was up to. This contributed to the lack of trust Aether has from anyone in Fable.

Weapons: Claws, Teeth, and some defensive magic.

Abilities: He's an exceptional healer, and is also good at lifting curses.

Class: Medic

Love Interest: Open

Conductors

Forum Name: Psycho Cat

Dragon Name: Keszpik

Breed: Thunder

Gender: Male

Image: user posted image

Appearance: Normal Thunder

Personality: Keszpik is calm and aloof more often than not. He dislikes being around too many people at once, and tries to stay mainly with those he knows and trusts, which are hard to find. On top of this, getting to know him may not even by worth it in the end. He is cold and unfeeling at times, and enough pent up anger can turn a normally cool and settled dragon into a hot live coal. He does a lot to protect the ones he does like, however, and would die for his closest friends. In the end, Keszpik is a confusing mess you have to untangle to see clearly.

Weapons: Mostly his claws and teeth. He also can shock the crap out of you if he so pleases.

Abilities: Electricity. Can move relatively fast. Like the majority of Thunder Dragons, his roar can temporarily deafen anything nearby.

Class: Conductor, though not defenseless in battle.

Love Interest: Somniall

D-dark. . . was the first word that came through the hatchlings mind, C-Cramped. He heard muffled talking outside of his oval shaped prison, "Krion needs to hatch soon! We must get across the ocean before the harsh storm season begins!" said a feminine voice, I-is my name Krion?

" I could fly through any storm that ocean can throw at us! But, I'd rather do it without the storm flying," a deep masculine voice, this time, spoke. Hatch-h? Krion whipped his tail against his tail against the oval prison, causing a slight crack. Though, the dragons were too busy talking to notice. Aa-gain! This time, Krion kicked the shell and created a large hole. He popped his royal blue head through the hole, knocking loose more of his shell. He watched it hit the floor before speaking to his parents. M-maybe I-I shouldn't hav-ve done t-this he muttered in his head.

"M-mommy? Daddyy?" Krion asked. I messed-d up!

"Yes, my love. We're here, and don't be scared," Scarlet, his gold shimmer scale mother, said.

His father wrapped his large blue tail around his tiny hatchlings blue tail "We need to leave soon." And so began the trip from the middle of Paradice to the edge of the land mass. Krion had learned to leap, run, and the basics of fighting as he traveled. Krion didn't understand why he learned these, nor know why they were important. He also strengthened his speech skills, which he was told would be 'helpful' in his future. With his training he now could fight a small animal, ambush prey, run away, start a battle, and how to communicate. And all he was told that 'Fable needed him'.

The edge of Paradice was beautiful, with white sand with the light blue waves rolling onto it, the cliffs off to the north, and the salty sea air. This is p-pretty! I hope we don't have to cross that. There was no land in sight, or as far as his developing hatchling eyes could see. His father had him climb onto his back and hang on, and shortly after his father lifted into the air leaving his wife and Krions mother, on the beach, crying. He watched ice caps and large waves as he flew by, captivated by the endless blue ocean. It took them two days straight of flying to reach Utopes coast, as his father had to fly slow so Krion wouldn't fall off. And then they reached the landmass and rested. They neither had said a word and by the looks of it, no word was going to be spoken. And then it happened, a spitfire and whiptail appeared. They lunged at Krions dad and yelled "Heraldic!" And Krion knew to run, and he did. He ran into a nearby bush and watched the scene. The whiptail had fallen but the Spitfire had killed Krions dad. Nnooo!! It can't be possible! Daaddyy!! All these thoughts ran threw the young boys head. His father had told him to try and find a 'base' filled with hatchlings. I was told to do it, and I will!

---Time Lapse---

T-tired.. Need sleep.. is what Krions brain told him, and thats what he needed. But he pushed on. A dot had appeared on the horizon. I can rest there! So the young hatchie trudged threw the environment to find himself a few feet within the building, with hatchlings and large adults everywhere. This must be it, he muttered in his thoughts. And then he collapsed.

((This was kinda lengthy yet it was not. Sorry tried to do this within 30 minutes and it turned out kinda sloppy. Sorry if this was hard to follow or understand. I plan on having some random hatchling or adult find Krion outside and help him.))

Nymph wasn't the type to think much of religion, but if there was one thing that absolutely had to come from the gods or a god, it was sunlight. The juvenile absolutely adored the glowing star high up within the sky. The warmth of the sun felt like a blanket against Nymph's scarred flesh, something to comfort her through the horrid war. Raising up her chin, Nymph stood still and bathed in the glow of the heavenly body. A joyous sigh escaped her as she pranced several steps forward before comfortably flopping herself onto the ground. A loud "thump" followed as her great body slammed into the ground. The grass most complained to be sharp and unpleasant to touch felt like velvet to Nymph. Nature was something Nymph enjoyed to great extends. She rarely found a fault in it and often giggled as others ranted about how thorns always prickled their sides and how it was always either "too cold" or "too hot". Sure sometimes the weather got out of hand, but it was not something to constantly grumble about! Squeezing her talons between the grass, Nymph gently placed her hand on her paws and closed her caramel eyes. A breath of content escaped her as she let the bounty of the sun shine upon her. Nymph knew she couldn't spend too much time out in the field. Someone was bound to yell at her for not training and lazing around, but she didn't need to worry about for the moment. She just needed to live in the moment, relax herself on a pillow of grass, close her eyes, and rest her body, just for a moment.

(Sorry for the horrid post, I just did a large one on another RP and I'm a bit burned out from that. ^^")

This could open up a lot of side-plots and even main plots so the RP will be kept interesting c: the OOC will be up later in the day [GMT]))

Barica yawned and stretched, his golden-orange scales flashing in the sunlight. He glanced at the small pond he'd fallen asleep in, searching for something to eat. After snapping up a couple of unsuspecting fish he hauled himself out of the water, wondering how long he'd been asleep. The shallow water dragon had only meant to take a nap, but it seemed he'd lost track of time. He winced as he set his feet on the grass, hating the way that it tickled the webbing between his toes. Ignoring the discomfort, Barica plodded towards his home, the tall building that loomed in the distance. Bored by the long walk, the young dragon accidentally let his mind wander. He was jerked back to reality when a nearby flower seemingly tore itself from the ground, roots and all. Hastily running through the mental exercises taught to him by his tutor, Barica reined in his magic before it could start messing with anything else. He sighed, gingerly picking up the disheveled flora and replanting it. The hatchling cursed his dysfunctional magic as he watched the broken stem droop. This wouldn't have happened if I could control my dumb powers, he thought bitterly.

A sigh of irritation escaped Cerberus as he closed the large book in front of him. The slamming of the book shutting rang throughout the room. A wave of dust brushed out of the book and drifted into Cera's nostrils. He let out an involuntary sneeze and let out an angry sniff. This was getting ridiculous! Just how many herbs was he suppose to memorize? How many remedies where there and why did all the steps to make medicines have to be so precise? It was absolutely ludicrous! Why did he, of all people, have to be tasked with learning all of this nonsense? Why couldn't there be just a few different types of plants he had to memorize? There were hundreds, no, thousands of remedies out there! He couldn't be expected to know of them! He wasn't a genius, he couldn't figure it all out on his own!

That is why I suppose we have trainers. They had to learn this sort of stuff, but they couldn't know everything in these dusty old books, could they?

Cerberus let out a dissatisfied grunt and pushed away the ancient book. He wasn't stupid, he knew his basics herbs and remedies. The fact that there were more complex medicines he had to practice with baffled him. Couldn't he just heal with magic like everyone else? Why did he need to learn all of this stuff?

Saturnius better not tell me to shove my nose into a book. I'd rather be stuck doing menial work than read another page!

Turning away from the table overflowing with books, Cerberus walked outside his room, into the main building, and glanced around. He could see adults and hatchlings running all over the place, but not a single one of them was his teacher. Cera glanced around but, alas, he did not see the familiar red hide of his tutor.

Where is she? I thought she was around here a minute ago?

Glancing around warily, Cerberus marched forward, the enormous stone attached to his trail dragging into the ground.

A low hum escaped Lion as she dipped a claw into the nearby bottle of ink and began drawing on the parchment in front of her. She had been tasked with creating a map of the surrounding area. After viewing reports of what the area looked like and several weeks of checking out the area herself, Lion did a rough sketch of what the environment looked like. She had redrawn her sketch lightly on a brown piece of parchment and had spent the last hour or so perfecting the map. Lion took longer than most when it came to drawing maps, but her work was of the greatest quality. "Quality or quantity," as the saying goes. Lion recoiled her paw and observed her work, ink dropping onto her fur. The curves grew from thick to thin, the edges of the lines were completely straight, the trees and such were eloquently drawn, the compass key was perfect as always, and not a single drop of ink was out of place.

Satisfied with her work, Lion wiped her paws on her fur, matting the black ink into her fluffy surface. Once sure that all the ink had been transferred from her paws and onto her fur, she leaned towards the nearby candle and blew onto it. The flame extinguished, leaving only behind a trail of smoke. With a silent grin, Lion waited a moment for the heavier lines on the map to dry and rolled up the parchment. She grabbed a ribbon and tied it tightly around the map. Gripping it firmly, Lion walked over to a shelf full of maps and shoved the scroll within one of the holes. The case itself looked quite untidy. It was completely flooded with maps of all types. An outsider might think the maps were thrown in without a care in the world, but Lion knew exactly where everything was. She put the maps in a pattern that she and those she cared to tell would recognize. Sure, anyone could pull a scroll out and hope they had found the map they were looking for, but only Lion and a few others knew exactly where to find each and every map.

Humming a lovely tune to herself, Lion turned her back to the shelve and went outside the room. Normally, she'd call her students to train, but it was a bit too early for that. Lion wasn't usually the first one to call for training and she still had some errands to run. She usually had her students check to see if they had an ample amount of supplies to work with, if the camp had gained or lost any members, if the count of provisions were correct, and etc. Lion didn't expect Fable to suddenly lose half of its soldiers or gain fifty medics. Sure it was possible that someone could steal half of the provisions and the routine of checking to see the amount of provisions could reveal that, but Lion highly doubted that would ever happen. The chore of checking to see if everything was the same was mostly to wake up Lion's students. It was meant to get them into a routine, make them familiarize themselves with the situation at hand and prepare themselves for training later in the day. But, today was different. Lion had decided to check on everything on her own. Besides, she needed to walk anyways. She would get fat if she sat around all day. With her soft hum continuing, Lion waltzed onward, her large ears perked upward and her fur mottled with black ink.

(I apologize if this didn't help at all.)

((Krion grew up a little since he fainted, and yea. And just to clarify are we in a large camp, or a regular base?))

This isn't going to work. Krion had woken up to see a needlessly large amount of what seemed to be white paper on him. Guess I could go around as a mummy.. Well, after I figure out where I am. He lumbered out of the clinic which was located on the eastern wing of the base, and started making moaning sounds. He walked forward in a slow gait for about forty yards to the center of the entire facility. Red and purple dragons crossed that, green one crossed there, hatchlings looked around over here. A few of them had been flying around, while others sparred. Smells of herbs and medicines, presumably coming from the clinic which was now behind him, floated into his nostrils. All of these sights and smells befuddled his nose and eyes. "Well, I guess I should talk to someone in charge." He produced a few last moaning sounds, then walked to what seemed to be a large room filled with adults.

Barica stumbled into the main building, his feet aching from the walk. He began to weave his way through the crowd, trying to get to the study room. Unfortunately his pitiful sense of direction was no match for the whirl of wings and tails that surrounded him, and he was soon lost. The hatchling leapt to the side to avoid getting stepped on by a careless adult, then lost his balance and fell on something warm and scaly. He quickly got up, glancing at the disgruntled sunstone hatchling he’d landed on. ”Oh! I’m so sorry! I didn’t see you there. Are you alright?” he asked, offering him a webbed talon.

Why is everything so crowded today? Did something happen recently or did everyone unanimously decide to be annoying?

It was ridiculous how many people were running around the base. What made the situation ludicrous was just how ignorant and careless everyone was being. Only Cerberus's loud hissing and the occasional swipe of the paw kept the rowdy crowd at bay. Most of the hatchlings kept their distance from him. Sunstones were known to be an aggressive breed and the snarl upon Cerberus's face only strengthened that fact. The adults, however, were not as wary. They brushed past the hatchling without a care in the world. Those that got too close for comfort obtained an upset hiss and those who slide their bodies against Cerberus or attempted to trample him got a more physical response. Cerberus retrieved several glares from baffled hatchlings and arrogant adults. He responded in kind with a death glare of his own before continuing forward.

Cerberus was cursing under his breath, mumbling about too many dragons in one place, right as he got ran into. A yowl of anger pierced the air and Cerberus lashed out blindly at whoever had rammed into him. His claws met with empty air and his body thudded into the ground.

Whoever decided to run into me is going to get a lick of fury.

Shaking his head, Cerberus blinked open his bronze eyes and glowered at the Shallow Water in front of him.

"Watch where you're going, will you?" Cerberus barked as he twitched his tail irritably. The other hatchling's offered paw was an insult to injury in Cerberus's mind. He didn't need assistance from this blind hatchling. Ignoring the offered talon, Cerberus staggered to his feet, wincing in pain as he stood up. Feeling sore near his calf, Cerberus glanced down at his leg to reveal a scratch formed along his leg.

"Just great," he hissed to himself as he sat himself down. Cerberus curled his tail towards the front of his body and placed the large stone at the tip of it on his wound. A sharp sting coursed through his body as the stone touched the wound and he flinched away from it. Carefully, Cerberus placed his claws on his stone and concentrated on his wound. The stone's glow brightened and the colors swirling inside of it become all the more brilliant. The opened skin began to regrow together, slowly melding to close the wound. After a minute or two, the would was healed the light emitting from the stone extinguished, leaving the colors inside of it to dance mutely.

"Try not to run into me next time," Cerberus warned the Shallow Water in a less hostile tone. "I really can't afford to get scrapes every five seconds."

Juneeculus walked around in a small circle continuously, thinking on how he'll defeat his tutor. The previous contest he had hosted didn't end well for him again. He had miserably lost again, which was seriously getting on his nerves. It was frustrating for him, losing several times to him, not to mention that the tsunami even gave him some tips on how to improve. 'That guy wasn't even taking me seriously! Giving me hints on how to defeat him, it just shows that he's confident that I'll still lose! He's looking down on me, he definitely is!' He thought angrily, although he was only assuming and probably exaggerating the last part.

"I'll show him! I'm going to challenge him again!" He exclaimed, determined.

The Glaucus Drake ran around, blindly trying to find the Tsunami Wyvern. When he finally did, he was panting, but he was still determined.

"Hah...! Hah...! Hah...A- Aqu- Hah...! AQURIUS, I CHALLENGE YOU AGAIN!" He exclaimed and gagged his mouth with his paw for a moment. There was pain in his stomach and a dizzy feeling in his head. Running around after eating something wasn't exactly the best idea. He gagged his mouth and rushed to the trash to vomit.

Juneeculus glanced around, although he mainly focused on a nearby hatchling, a royal blue, who was near his tutor he was going to challenge.

'No way, is he challenging them to a competition? I was suppose to do that!' He thought while he threw up.

The Glaucus Drake wiped off some of the saliva after finishing and slowly walked up to the royal blue.

"I challenge you to a duel!" He exclaimed at the hatchling.

((No Idea what color you have))

Krion didn't accomplish anything at the table between the tutors. A blue-ish hatchling had come up and challenged the Tsunami to some kind of a battle. 'Whats a contest? It sounds fun!' Now that the attention had been completely turned off of him, he jumped off the table and looked at the 3 dragons, and started to walk away. He continued away from the room, slowly walking with a goofy smile on his face.

"I challenge you to a duel!"

Hey! Its that contest dragoneer! Wait, whats a duel? Krion mumbled something, then said "I accept. Y'know as long as I don't die." A hundred goofy ideas of what a 'duel' could be ran through his head. Maybe we ride those things called elephants. Or see who is the sexiest. I'd sure win at that!

I hope its fun. I'm running out of clinic nerds to play games with!

Finally, after hours of walking on wet grass that sank beneath their weight, Sepisc, Luxiphere and Keszpik saw Fable's base looming on the horizon. Though he knew the two hatchlings by him wanted, maybe even needed to be here, he did not. When he first agreed to help the young warriors, he had done it out of kindness, but also out of a desperateness to separate himself from Vorgi. But now, approaching what had been his enemy for so long, he knew he had to return. His roots were tied to Heraldic, and he would never belong here. But he would stay. He would stay and help the two courageous hatchlings, until he knew they were safe. Then, he would return to Heraldic, his home. Though he might not ever be accepted in either faction after this, he said he would help Luxiphere and Keszpik find their new home, and he would. Promises were not meant to be broken.

"Keszpik, Luxiphere, we're almost there. Are you sure this is what you want? They may greet us with hostility; perhaps with violence. It will be dangerous to admit having origins in Heraldic. You hatchlings may be safe, but I may not be. please, promise to be careful." Falling silent, he stared at the ground and began to think about the resistance group he served. He refused to break promises, yet, he was leading two hatchlings from Heraldic to Fable. He was breaking a promise but he felt compelled to do so. It was almost like part of him agreed that there was something wrong with Heraldic. Soon, though, his mind wandered to Vorgi and he began to consider if it was her that made him leave, or if it would be her that made him return.

Nothing was out of the usual. Supplies were copious and rations were only somewhat lacking. Someone would need to be sent out to gather more food sooner or later or else everyone would get rifled up and vicious thanks to hunger. Lion had asked the Harvest that was in charge of handing out fare why it seemed as though they were lacking slightly in her department. She replied wistfully that a either a few of the higher-ups or a some mischievous youngsters, (she did not know which) had began having a few extra meals or a snack here and there. Lion was informed it was nothing to be concerned about as a new shipment would be coming in any day now. Lion grinned at this and bid the Harvest a good day, but her smile was completely fake and her mind was plagued by concern.

Where were all the recruits? What happened to that army Fable was suppose to have? Lion had been a part of Fable for quite a long time and she had yet to see that "grand and magnificent" army that council promised. She did not doubt that they weren't trying their best, but she was becoming worried. Surely there were thousands, perhaps even millions, of fine body-able adults willing to protect their country and yet, the council sent hatchlings to fight against Heraldic. Who's bright idea was that? Not only were hatchlings weaker and no were as powerful as adults, but they were also harder to control. Lion would of thought ill of the idea of using hatchlings as warriors if Heraldic wasn't doing the same exact thing. It was baffling how plain idiotic it was, making hatchlings doing an adult's work. At least Fable had the tendency to use hatchlings who were somewhat mature. For all she knew, Heraldic was probably taking newborns and setting them up to do jobs!

The cloud of dread that loomed over Lion dispersed as soon as she heard arguing. Pricking up her ears, Lion padded over to the room where she heard the yelling. Aqurias and Minegi were at each other's heels, quarreling as to youngsters chatted next to them. Lion twitched her nose at the scene as she popped her head into the room.

"You don't decide whether claws or magic is better in battle," Lion called to the other tutors. "That's my job." Lion glanced over momentarily at the hatchlings in front of the adults. She recognized one of them, but the other was new to her. She only gave them a moment's notice before looking back up at the other tutors.

"What's the big fuss for anyhow? It's not like you've guys just met for the first time." she asked the other two, cocking her head to the side slightly.

Minegi gave a quick chuckle at Lion's remark, then turned around, hissed at Aquarius, and strutted out of the tent. The only bit of negative emotion she still had was remorse, and that was remorse for not pounding the Tsunami tutor with magic. After all, Lion was her friend, and a good one, with plenty of playful rivalry. Her fluffy beige form was easy to see among rows of sleek tents, and Minegi jogged a few steps to stand beside her. "How's the plan for the next skirmish going? I hear that you're making all the soldiers stay behind and do chores. Sorcerers are going to do the bulk of the fighting, right? Like usual?" Only part of his speech was a joke, however, as Minegi was quite prideful and truly believed magic to be the proper way to fight. "How has it been going? Have you heard the rumor on how Heraldic captures newborns and makes them fight? Can you believe how terrible they must be? Whatever, it'll just make out job that much easier, I guess." A soft smirk spread across his face, making his expression like one of a schoolboy. "How have things been going? Are your apprentices skilled? Or a pain in the bottom, like mine? I swear, those fools don't even know what magic cores are, let alone which kind they have... It's so incredibly difficult to instruct them on the proper uses of the power that has grown within them. I expect creating battle plans and tactics is easier to learn, it's more of just memorizing facts, right?" Finished with his boastful speech, Minegi paused to consider what else could be added, though it seemed more like he was waiting for someone else to give their opinion.

His mind raced with ideas on how he could make his profession seem more appealing and superior to the others, but she quickly smothered them as not to seem conceited, completely oblivious to how he already was. Deciding to keep silent rather than continue talking, Minegi quieted and stared at the expanse of land around them, beautiful even with war raging every day between dozens of factions. Instead of considering the war or what Lion might say, though, the magi dragon looked into the horizon and daydreamed about how powerful yet selfless and humble he was.

Stalking nervously around the base he had been assigned to, Fortis carefully sneaked around the tents and dragons following the wonderful scent he had caught earlier, after a hard training session: the scent of a rabbit, which he assumed had somehow been able to wander around unnoticed. As he followed the scent, growing hungrier with every step, he noticed something off about it, kind of like it was tinted with charcoal. A few minutes later, he realized the delicious smell was not from a rabbit, but a dragon carrying some cooked meat, probably what would be for dinner. Sighing, he returned to the tent where he often stayed in to rest and lied down to take a nap. Murmuring a quick "good night" to himself, he closed his eyes to a long, dreamless sleep.

Lion couldn't help but giggle as Minegi rambled on and on about how his students were a pain to deal with, how horrible Heraldic was, and how magic was harder to learn than map making. The last part brought out a small snort out of Lion. Minegi had always been a prideful creature, deeming himself more powerful than others all the while refusing to believe any of his assists were flawed. He was a stubborn dragon, but he wasn't stupid, quite the opposite in fact. He had proven himself many times over, resulting in victories Fable would not of originally achieved if he had not been there. He was someone to look up to, someone deserving of great honor, and yet, Lion could not help but feel as though he acted more like an excited hatchling than a full grown adult with the experience of age. Lion's friend loosened up when it come to private one on one chats between the Pillow and Magi. He was much more flexible with his wording and, as he had just done, was not afraid to complain to her. That was precisely what Lion adored about him.

"Well, Mr. I-know-it-all," Lion said in a dramatic voice as she puffed out her chest and raised her chin. "I'll have you know, erecting battle plans and formulating tactics is not "easier to learn". Unlike magic, battle plan making doesn't stay the same. While your students' magic will always be of the same type, tactics and battle plans change all the time so the conductors and I must constantly change our thinking styles to suit our enemies' own changed strategies. Without us, you would have no idea what to use your magic for." Although her words seemed strict, Lion's tone was completely playful. She meant some of her words, but her entire statement was an exaggeration. She had simply twisted the truth a little and sprinkled some drama onto her words. Simple, but good enough to get Minegi riled up.

"My students are doing well," Lion purred as she seated herself outside of the tent, her fur brushing up against her legs. "I caught one of them sleeping during training. Instead of giving them a good whack of the head, allowing them to resume their duties, I called for the other students to cease their work and ordered them to draw a map of the eastern part of Paradice on their peer's body. When that student woke up, they were a walking map and the less experienced students began to use the disciplined one as a reference." Lion ruffled her fur at her speech. She was proud of the punishments she gave to her students. They were nowhere as harsh as what some of the other tutors may give, but they were sufficient enough. Embarrassment was a good enough punishment for Lion. After all, if she gave her students the punishments she use to give, she'd probably be stripped of her title and shipped off to die in Utope. She was a changed dragon, that was for sure.

Aether had his nose in a book. He really didn't have much of a problem reading, unlike some of the other medics-in-training. He was trying to find a spell for regrowing scales so enemy dragons can't cause serious damage by striking the unprotected area. Aether eventually found it, and tested the spell by plucking out one of his own scales. Aether cast the spell and watched as a new scale slid out from underneath the old ones. "Perfect!" he exclaimed, and set off to find Saturnius so he could tell her he found it, but he was in such a hurry that he didn't look where he was going and tripped over a tail. He looked up to see a Shallow Water dragon chatting with a Sunstone. Aether stood up, picked up the book he was reading, apologized, and asked, to neither one in particular, "Have you seen Saturnius around? She's a Red dragon and the medic trainer, in case you don't know." Edited by MrSpyro

The first word that entered Minegi's mind after hearing all Minegi had to say was "prideful". And then "naive". Though he liked Lion, who was she to trumpet the difficulty of her profession, then add that her students were doing well? How could writing and drawing always be different? Nothing could be as diverse as magic, he expected Lion to know that. She was usually so smart, he had high expectations for her.

Annoyed with her boasting comments, Minegi set his mind to outdo her, at least in this conversation. Not realizing his own original bragging, he began to feel an obligation to teach Lion that she wasn't the best, unaware of the fact that his "lesson" was quite contradictory to his own mindset. "Magic is ever-changing as well! Much of my power comes from water and my spells revolve around telekinesis, but my students are all different! It is incredibly difficult to teach them all! Yet, they excel, but only because of my ingenious methods. And we can use magic on our own as well! Even without a plan, we and tear apart opponents without a single scratch, and can hold our own in a fight!"

His lungs tired from expelling so many words, Minegi stopped to take a few good breaths, but not before adding, "That was a good punishment idea, though. Pity it can't be done on a magic class, but it is quite a bit harder to sleep while fighting."

It was hard to tell if the Shallow Water was just thinking up a reply or staring off into space. It had been a minute or so since the aquatic hatchling bumped into Cerberus and he had yet to say anything to counter the Sunstone's words. It would of become eerie if Cerberus had waited for a few more moments. Before he could try to make an excuse to get away, he felt yet another hatchling bump into him. The sting of talons digging into his tail brought out a growl of frustration from him. He spun around, eyes narrowing as he tried to locate who had stepped on his tail. The snarl that crept on his lips kept most of dragons at bay, but a lone Soulpeace seemed to be unfazed, or ignorant, to the sharp teeth baring from Cera's mouth. The stranger apologized which led Cerberus to believe he was the one who had stepped on the Sunstone's sensitive tail. He was about to spew out a plethora of vulgar words that might earn him a bar of soap, but then he realized he recognized the Soulpeace. He was smaller than most of his breed and was carrying a medical book around. Cera had seen this hatchling in training sessions before. He might of made smalltalk with the Soulpeace, but he couldn't remember clearly. What was his name again? Either? Aither? Ah, yes, Cera remembered now.

"Aether, is it?" Cerberus asked as he flicked his tail irritably. "You ought to watch where you're walking. People here don't take kindly to those who run around carelessly." Cera gave the Shallow Water a glare as he said "carelessly". He was pretty sure he had seen the Shallow Water before, but, unlike Aether, Cerberus had never talked to him before, nor had he ever associated with him in any form. Had he of known just how reckless the orange hatchling was, he might of done something to deal with it. Alas, he had not and now he was stuck in his current situation. Cerberus listened to Aether's words with disdain flooding his mind. Did the Soulpeace not recognize him? Sure it took Cera a moment to recognize him, but surely he wouldn't be as dull to not remember him? Hell, even informing them who Saturnius was something the Soulpeace probably didn't even had to do. Everyone knew who the trainers were! Didn't Aether know that already?

"I'm pretty sure we all know who Saturnius is," Cerberus pointed out. "Most of us know the names of all the trainers and I, myself, am training along side you. As for where Saturnius, I have no idea. I was looking for her when someone so rudely bumped into me." Cerberus glanced over in the Shallow Water's direction before turning his annoyed gaze back to Aether. He wouldn't ask the other medic to help him locate their trainer. The thought had crossed his mind, but he had no idea how Aether would react. If he was one of those hatchlings who would yell at Cerberus just because he was upset. If it turned out Aether had a brain in his skull, then maybe, just maybe, Cera would consider band together to find their trainer.

Rolling her eyes comically, Lion gave Minegi a knowing look. Would he ever learn that she was just playing with him? There was some truth in her words, but didn't the puffing out of her chest and her sudden dramatic voice give away that she was just messing around? It was cute to watch him get so up in arms, but it was a bit draining at times. She would of hoped Minegi would of picked up some part of her playfulness, but it seemed as though he thought she was being serious. It was one of Minegi's flaws that Lion struggled with. But hey, everyone had flaws, right? It wasn't like Lion didn't know how to dance around it. She had done it before and she could do it now.

"Oh hush, you big silly oaf!" Lion purred playfully as she gave a sharp poke to Minegi's chest. "No need to brag! Can't you tell when I'm trying to be dramatic? Did my deep and enchanting voice not mesmerize you?" Noticing that her puffed out fur was not helping to prove her point, she began to rasp her tongue against her chest in an attempt to flatten her fur and make it more attractive. Unfortunately for her, she had completely forgotten about the ink she had wiped off on herself. The black liquid which was staining her fur leaped onto her tongue. As soon as the ink touched her soft pink tongue, her long furry ears flattened backward and he nose scrunched up.

"Awh oh," she said as she brought a paw to her rolled out tongue as she examined the black splotches on it.

"Ah got swome fink on aye tonfwue." she stated as she began to scratch her tongue with her claws. Recoiling at the taste of dirt from the pads of her paws, Lion began to claw more furiously. She let out a whine of disgust as she tried to rid herself of the ink.

Barica shook his head, waking from the strange trance he'd been in. That was odd. Guess I've been missing more sleep than I realized. He turned his attention back to the grumpy sunstone and noticed that a soulpeace hatchling had joined them. The shallow water had seen him around before, but they'd never talked. After a moment he noticed another set of scratch marks on the sunstone's tail. "Oh, wow, did you bump into him too?" he asked the soulpeace. "Jeez, that's two in the span of, like, three minutes. Your tail must be getting pretty sore." He raised a talon to give the sunstone a pat on the back, then thought better of it. "Anyway, do either of you know which way the study room is? I'm a little bit disoriented..."
