Username: Tiger101 Name: Nirvarda Age: [18-40, I don't want any very young warriors.] 20 Gender: Female Side: [King's Army or Fireflies?] Neutral Position: [Leader of the Fireflies or Captain of the King's Army?] None Appearance: She is average height at 5'9". She has long blonde hair that reaches far down her back. She has paler skin than normal. Her eyes are a bright blue and she wears a dress that matches her eyes. She has a cloak of a deep purple colour. She always has a bow and arrows, a very decorative sword and a small dagger hidden in her boots Personality: She doesn't know who to fight for. So she doesn't. She stayed neutral and ran for her life when men came for her. She is kind and caring, showing no hatred to any without reason. She often tends to the sick or injured, trying to help them back to health. History: She has never wanted to fight. Not for the Kingdom or the Fireflies. She has been close to it after her family was wiped out by the Kingdom. Because of this, she dislikes them and wouldn't fight for them. She has been close to fighting with the fireflies but not yet. Dragon's Information Name: Mythril Age: [Human years.] 18 Gender: Male Appearance: He is a good sized dragon, his entire body in proportion. He has sharp claws which compensate for his slightly blunt fangs. His scales are a deep blue and his scales are hard like armour but his wings are made up of a thin membrane that can be easily damaged. Personality: He is very protective over Nirvarda and would never let her get hurt. He is also protective of the few friends that she has. He guards over her when she sleeps, alerting her to any dangers that he finds. Posted December 15, 2012 Username: Name: Basil Age: 19 Gender: Male Side: Fireflies Position: follower Appearance: Here Personality: He hotheaded and stubborn, he tends to jump into the fire without thinking. Though he has an incredible sense of humor and tends to make people laugh even at grave times. But he does know when to be serious and listen. He's actually very smart. But he hates his name and always likes to go by Aaron, but usually is ignored and is called Basil anyway. History: He was born in a very small farming village with a twin brother that died when he was ten. When he was eleven he stumbled across an egg and took it and raised it. The dragon chose him to be his rider and they share a close bond together. Later he ended up joining the Fireflies. Dragon's Information Name: Emeri Age: [Human years.] 18 Gender: Female Appearance: Here Personality: She's probably just about as stubborn as Basil is, but she thinks things more carefully and is much more wise than he is. She is very smart like her dragon, but much more of a warrior. She does not ofen do things peacefully when it comes to the king and his men, but she is sensible enough not to kill unless nessary. History: When she was a very young girl, her small village was put under siege by the king because an egg was there to see if it would hatch for anyone. Almost everyone was killed, but Kaiya managed to find the egg and flee with it in the chaos. The egg hatched the next day, and the two grew up together in hiding until they joined the fireflies. Posted December 16, 2012 I hope you don't mind having me join! Username: SL Name: Akama Vondera Age: 23 Gender: Male Side: King's Army Position: Captain Appearance: Here Personality: Akama is anything but normal. He may seem like a childish and friendly person on the outside, always smiling and laughing and joking around, but he can turn from an innocent child to a raving, mad psycho in a matter of seconds. He likes decapitating people and collecting cut of limbs. He has a collection of skulls at home and will stop at nothing to get the skull he wants. He's very loyal to the king and acts like the kings son at times, listening to every word his king says. Akama will not help anyone in need, unless ordered to, and only listens to the king. He often says unreasonable things and isn't afraid of killing or getting killed. Sometimes, he tends to get excited at the sight of anything like blood and goes around trying to find someone to decapitate. He will start going mad at the prospect of battle or blood. The only one that can calm him down is his dragon, being interlinked with his mind. Even his own comrades avoid him and make as little contact as much as possible. However, he is good at commanding people in battle and making plans that will result in another's misery and pain. Also very good at keeping the people in check. History: Akama was born in a rich family who cared a lot out blood and had autism from a young age, shutting himself from the world. In the time he was away from people, he somehow got himself a dragon egg. Soon, his only company was a dragon and a skull. The skull had been given to him in an attempt to lure him outside, but it failed because his dragon snatched it into his room. Akama also had a liking for human skulls from a young age as well, most likely due to inbreeding within his family. At the age of merely 10 years old he snapped and went crazy. His dragon didn't stop him from killing his entire family and taking their skulls. From that day on, Akama developed further interest in skulls and began beheading people in his own town for their heads. The townspeople stayed away from his house that had now become like a haunted mansion. He went absolutely mad, even hurting himself to satisfy his thirst for blood. Eventually his dragon flew to the king's palace, begging for the king to help Akama in return for the two's loyalty and service. After hearing about Akama, the king developed a mild interest for the boy and gave Akama's dragon a way to calm the boy down. Raven thanked him and flew back, calming Akama down and taking some of his savage nature onto himself. Akama is really grateful to the king for helping him and decided to go into the king's ranks, eventually getting into the position he is in now due to a slight accident with the previous captain, which resulted in the young man's death. Dragon's Information Name: Raven Age: 16 Gender: M Appearance: Raven is a small, black dragon with large fangs and a long curved spike on his tail that make up for his lack of strength in battle. He's pretty fast and almost big enough for Akama to ride. His claws are also long and curved, making him look like a black eagle. He has a few feathers here and there and decapitates people with his claws and fangs to attack. Personality: Raven is much calmer than Akama, but also has a bit of Akama's psycho personality in him. He is usually the one who makes the decision for Akama to kill or not kill a person, but he has no mercy for anyone. He is often the one to give orders to those who serve under Akama as Akama creeps most of the soldiers out. He also has a love for decapitation, just like Akama. I saw this and got very interested, so I was hoping I could join! o u o Username: opallapo Name: Kai Voltaire Age: 18 Gender: Male Side: King's Army Position: Follower/Soldier Appearance: Here, though with a very light brown-orange instead of red. Personality: A great lover of seafood and a great hater of dragons, Kai is a somewhat volatile young man. He holds a vast spot in his heart for anyone that had grown up in hardship, and believes that all the people of the land should allow themselves to be checked by their king so as to have stability. Two of his greatest hobbies are stone collecting and reading, though the latter is mostly reserved for poetry. He can be rather cynical and bitter at times, and is generally a melancholy man. He's very frugal and will go out of his way to save money or not spend it. While out in the wood during his childhood, he developed a rudimentary knowledge of the local flora compounded enough by the king's fellowship to give him a basic understanding of herbal medicine. He has a great fear of fire. History: Orphaned at a very young age by an unchecked rider's dragon, Kai grew up stealing fish from the open markets and ports of Drie'lino with a burning hatred of the reptilian beasts. Known quite well as a thief amongst the fishermen, they for the most part threatened and beat him away whenever he appeared, though in their defense he seldom ever walked the docks without the intent of stealing from them. After being refused any housing or food for his reputation, he came to the realization that he ought to barter for his keep, and began gathering berries and wild herbs and plants to trade for fish. In this way, he acquired simultaneously a hobby for collecting stones. At one point he managed to find a glory of a stone, large and perfectly smooth and beautiful, though when he went to touch it a searing hot pain shot across his palm and burnt him. He took it regardless and went to barter it for what he thought would be a mountain of fish. On his way to the docks, however, he was found by one of the king's men and ordered to return to the castle with him and the stone. There, he delighted in learning of the ideology of the king and his kingdom, and even as his dragon hatched and he was initially repulsed by it, the men of the king taught him to eventually warm up to it. Having been given an education, housing, food and protection by the followers of the king, he grew to honestly and sincerely love and follow him as well. While he doesn't truly loathe his dragon as much as he had initially, he still cannot say that he loves him just yet, either. Dragon's Information Name: Neceron Age: 6 Gender: Male Appearance: Here (The blue one) Personality: Calm, quiet, and generally of the soft-spoken variety, Neceron prefers to think things through carefully and strategically before diving into things. He was built more for speed in flight than anything else, and his leaner frame sacrifices plenty of strength and weight. Intelligent but not wise, he feels much closer to Kai than Kai does to him, and generally looks out for his rider's well-being not due to any fear of dying but out of genuine love. He shares his rider's empathy with the weak and cast away members of society, though he also tends to steer clear of other dragons in the same mindset as Kai's hatred of them. He's generally seen as weak by most other dragons for being hesitant to kill, which he would counter is only so that he may have ample time to think about any consequences to any actions he might partake in battle. Posted December 17, 2012 Username: RainDash Name: Yuki Halls Age: 20 Gender: Female Side: Fireflies Position: Follower Appearance: Sara Personality: Yuki is very quiet and rarely speaks her mind. That doesn't stop her from being incredibly rebellious and strong willed. The words she doesn't say wieght almost more heavily then the ones she does say. Her eyes never miss a beat. Though not emotional on the outside, if she is provoked enough, she can become a berserker, and kill anyone in her way. History: Sara was employed in the King's Army for two years. Though she was efficient at it, the king deemed that she lacked a dragon, this was not true. When she was barely three she had been found in a forest with an egg, which was apparently wild and with unknown traits. When the King discovered that she had a wild dragon, she was asked to reveal it to him. Yuki said yes, but held off until she found her dragon without the king and fled his service, taking up arms with the Fireflies. Dragon's Information Name: Evens Age: 17 Gender: Male Appearance: Evens Personality: Evens is more curious and more childish than Yuki. He cares for Yuki like a sibling, he often teases her. He never tries to provoke her so much that she goes berserk. He is very emotional and never fights if he can help it.
