Posted December 15, 2014 Christmas breeding + event The breeding of the Christmas dragons from the previous years will begin some days before Christmas (probably on the 19th). TJ09 (the founder of the site and admin of the forum) will post in the News section when exactly the breeding and the event begin. So keep an eye on this forum: News You can only acquire bred eggs from the previous Christmas breeds, no caveborn ones. Which means that they have parents and lineages/family trees. Those eggs will be found on the abandoned page only. There is no limit on how many you can pick up of which one (= no breed limit - your egglimit stays the same during the event). Only Hollies need to be influenced to make sure they gender as preferred. For the other breeds the gender is fixed. Yulebucks will always be males, Snow Angels always females and so on. The eggs look like this: Holly 2007 Yulebuck 2008 Snow Angel 2009 Ribbondancer 2010 Winter Magi 2011 Wrapping Wing 2012 Solstice 2013 The new Christmas egg will probably be released on 25th of December and will be available for several days. TJ09 will confirm that with a post in the above mentioned section of the forum. The egg is to be found in all biomes/habitats and will be caveborn (no parents). Every 5 minutes the biomes will be filled up (xx.00/xx.05/xx.10/xx.15 and so on). So if you see empty biomes you just have to wait a few minutes and try again. If the breed limit is not changed you will not be allowed to get more than two of those. Nobody but TJ09 and the spriters knows beforehand what the new breed looks like. No need to influence you eggs. Their gender is defined by the breed. You are not allowed to ask for any holiday eggs in this thread. But some of our donors will offer their help with the eggs from the previous years. Besides there will be plenty of gifting in other threads within the trading section. In the next weeks gifting, updating and answering questions will from experience be slower than usual as not everybody spends their holidays in front of the computer. So please be patient. If you would like to be considered please do the following: A) Do NOT have a holly on your scroll. PM me stating you would like to be considered for the holly egg. PLEASE include a scroll link, so I can verify you have none. I will be doing this prior to drawing a winner. You must have NO fogged eggs on the day of drawing so I can see what you have. Fogged eggs will lead me to draw another winner. I will then choose a winner on Christmas day via a random draw. I've decided you do NOT need to be on the newbie list for this, I will be opening up the draw to all members who meet the above criteria. I did it when I'd only started playing no more than three days and read that you could make them hatch early that way, but it failed and I feel horribly about it (I have a fogged hatchling, an Albino, it is a Neglected Attempt, I can unfog if needed) Moulin Rouge I don't feel right asking for anything, I literally just got a cave born Blue Dino in the jungle, a Cave Born Gold Dragon and I have a cave born Gold Wyvern that I got in the Alpine, and I've also got an Ice Dragon from the Abandoned Pile. I've already got adults I still need to breed, so I'm here to post that I'll give them away/one Holly egg to a newbie that doesn't have any yet. Rules of the thread still apply. No trading, abandoning, or killing. The Lineages aren't anything to write home about but I thought someone here may still appreciate them. Send me a PM if you are interested. P.S. Sorry for not posting in the correct format. I haven't been here in a few years and admittedly, I didn't read the updated first page. Edit: Wow, there's really no one who needs a Holly? I can't really wait for these any longer since I still need to breed my other holidays, so I'll have them posted up in the departures thread.
