What a gorgeous set of dragons! A brilliant release worthy of the occasion. Congratulations and thanks to the artists & writers who've made this possible! And of course, TJ, for creating & maintaining this game that's brought joy through so many years.

Gorgeous eggs & beautiful hatchlings! I'm excited to see what they'll grow up to be. Thanks to all contributors & a happy 20th birthday to DC! I've only been playing since 2009, which is still quite a long time – more than half of my life.

These are gorgeous. The concept, the pose, the colour scheme, the delightful alliteration in the description... what's not to love? Thank you to the artists; it's definitely one to hoard! I gambled on getting a nice code in the last three hours, and of course my attempts were thwarted by a storm that took down cellular networks. Difficult to catch anything offline without a signal! Putting my hopes on the AP to complete the pair so I won't have to wait until next year.

I love the announcement illustration, so cute! Looking forward to seeing the lil' gummy wyrms all grown up. I'm also thrilled that the new release will last for 2 days instead of one.

Glad you liked the moon! I didn't get to play much during the first four days of the event so I was delighted & surprised to catch my treat yesterday. Big fan of your vulture as well! The treats with references usually fly right over my head (even the Halloween candy ones since I'm not American ), but as a casual birder it's always cool to spot avians in unexpected places.

What a great release! The colours on the Teris are just exquisite, and the design really stands out, too. As for the Aluria, I've been hoping to get some on my scroll ever since they were a Dragon Request, and dreams do come true. Gorgeous work overall, sending my congratulations and thanks to the artists! ❤️

Is this the point where I admit I thought Bob was a Twin Peaks reference (and that I'm kind of relieved it's not because that would give me nightmares)? It would still fit with the whole "tearing the fabric of reality" thing. Anyway, thanks for giving us a peek behind the scenes. Wonderful work & congrats on the release to all involved!

Looks like that was a bug; they don't have gender listed anymore. 👀

Update: bought a second, smaller batch of Vespines after the 5-hour cooldown and got the other white I needed! So out of the 11 eggs I've bought in total, two were white; the ratios don't seem too abysmal to me.
-
Didn't have any time to hunt this past week, so tried my luck on the Market; out of the 8 Vespines I purchased, only one was white.

The combination of hallucinations and tentacles is giving me Cthulhu vibes, although I guess that's just a coincidence. Either way, I love the aquatic pastel-coloured eldritch horror children.

Umm... I just got a treat from 2013, even though I'm definitely not done with 2021 yet? ETA: I'm back to 2021 with the next treat, it seems.
-
Oh no, that's some terrible luck! But it's definitely not the default success rate! (Personally, I haven't managed to kill any fully cracked eggs below 5 days by EQ yet.)

You move backwards, so first you'll get this year's eggs (in random order), then last year's, and so on. Once you have eggs from more than one year, your egg basket page will have dividing banners showing which year's eggs are which.
-
A lot of the references fly right over my head, but I enjoy the pixel art nonetheless! I was also glad to see my design among them. ETA: You don't get a notification, just a confirmation that your submission was received. As far as I know, there are two kinds of responses: either your egg doesn't meet the requirements and you're told to fix it and resubmit, or you get a simple "thank you for your submission" message.

Got this year's treats gathered and was super excited to find my own piece of pixel art amongst them. Now trying to complete the rest of my collection; thanks for the opportunity! There were so many lovely treats this year that it's hard to pick a fave, but the swearwolf and eye candy were particularly puntastic. Special shoutout to whoever made this year's treat banner: it is simply gorgeous!

I just finished the game; huge thanks to everyone involved in its creation! Loved the overall look of the game, the puns were awful i.e. great, and the option to pet a "friend" (and to see its reaction) gave me a good chuckle. The runes were the only thing I couldn't figure out on my own. Especially enjoyed the Arcana minigame, which was reminiscent of the potion riddle in Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone.

Well this was unexpected Snatched a purple egg, it sorts between Misfit and Monarch.

Sugar seems to be in high demand yet difficult to come by in Valkemare... Congrats to birdz on the release! I'm super excited for the new Holiday dragon; birdz' sprites are gorgeous in general, and the hatchling's colours look beautiful! Loving the subdued shades in particular, they remind me of antique Xmas cards.

Try refreshing at five minute intervals: xx:05, xx:10, xx:15 etc. The longest drop is at the top of the hour, so at xx:00, although it can be a bit late (this hour it started some time after :01 and lasted a few minutes)

Happy birthday, Cave! We've had many years together, and here's for many more to come!
-
Very thrilled about the new releases! The Coast egg is gorgeous, I love water-related concepts, and blue is my favourite colour. Very much looking forward to seeing the adult two-headed, too; TCA's sprites are always so well made.
-
Oh, I didn't recognise the Aethers from the eggs or hatchlings, but now I do remember seeing them in the DR! Very nice. And the Pipios are just as lovely as I remembered.
-
First, I stay up all night until it's 7 a.m. where I live, just in case, you know. Then, after a good night's day's sleep, I go away for half an hour... and the release happens! I am so excited for these Pygmies, though! They, too, look a bit familiar...

Yes, got my upside-down mint! I missed last year's event and was expecting to be eaten today, so that was a nice surprise. The minty Shadow Walkers look particularly fetching with their new pastel goth colouring and that rather ectoplasmic mist.
