I am so dumb. I somehow... didn't realize? That I don't actually have any Aeon Wyverns and haven't unlocked them in the encyclopedia so I can't buy them. So I got a couple of Canto eggs in the market, thinking I could get that variation and manage catching ones for orange later but, nope. Guess I'm gonna wind up with a lot of the default ones, lol. 😂 Definitely interesting to have so many different color mechanisms, though!

That bat symbol one is INCREDIBLE. (I've only been doing super simple decorating on mine bc hand pain, but I'm loving seeing how creative others get with them. )

Oh, holy cow, if you've only read the first book, you HAVE to read the rest of the series. It gets so. much. better. (Third one in the series is like... one of my favorite books of all time. I think I've read it about six times now. But all of them are really, really excellent.)

For anyone curious to know the references, my eggs are: - Flower one: no particular reference, just playing with colors. - Ammonite egg, inspired by pretty ammonite fossils. - Hamiathes's Gift, from the Queen's Thief series (someone tell me I'm not the only MWT fan around here?) - And, of course, Wonder Woman.

Ooooo, the adults are <3 <3 <3, all of them. Nice designs on their own, and extra nice to see some body types that're different from the bulk of what's already in cave. I liiiiike.

I had the same issue for a bit, here. I went into my notifications (the bell at the top right corner of the page) and fiddled with options a bit to try to get things the way I wanted. Then I went into my email's spam folder and discovered that apparently it had decided with the change that emails from the forum suddenly looked too suspicious. So you might want to check both your notification settings and your spam filter to mark them as safe. Emails seem to be coming through fine for me, now that I've got that sorted out.

I can't seem to get it to recognize that I'm on a new day. Can't get Perl to talk to me, or do the activities again as others have been saying then can. I've exited and reentered and refreshed so many times, but it just doesn't seem to be doing anything.

Just got the same icons! And I also have green checks on all of them except the book and the doggish pawprint. Hmm... Missed something today, or prep for tomorrow's activities?

Yay for updates! Glad to see the encyclopedia info released. And I'm looking forward to the implementation of sprite updates! Offhand, I can't think of an update that I wasn't more pleased by in the end than the original. (Certainly understand anxiety over waiting to see the new versions, though, especially where lineages are concerned.)

Heh, for my own sake, I really hope the Silvers either arrive tomorrow or wait a week... I've got out-of-state friends coming in, and I really don't want to be spending time on the computer trying to catch while they're here.

Wheee! I'm pleased that they're cycling through phases so quickly. It'll make breeding/catching a lot more fun, not to have to wait too long. ^^

Mmhmm. I had read at some point that the change in views on the symbolism was at least partly influenced by the Nazis' use of pink to designate gay men in the concentration camps, but I'm really not sure how accurate that claim is. At any rate, it's fun to try to think outside the box rather than getting locked into certain ways colors "should" be. ^^ I can't wait to see what other lineages people come up with! I haven't settled on any myself yet, aside from doing a PB one...

<3 all around - so fun to wake up to lots of happy! I'm very glad people approve of the blue/red choices for male and female. Fun fact: Some early naturalists studying the flowers thought that the blue variety of plant was the female and the red was the male. 'Nother fun fact: Apparently "Anagallis" derives from a Greek word meaning "to laugh." *hands you virtual cookies* I wondered if anyone else would remember those books! They are indeed the original source of my love for these pretty flowers. ^^ There will definitely be more info about them. As proven by the leak at the beginning of the release... their encyclopedia info is set up and ready to go, so it should be available soon.

The superhero look was not intentional, but I find the thought adorable. ;D

I thought the mods had scrubbed the encyclopedia leaks from the earlier pages of the thread! Psst: No one say the name here, please, to avoid spoiling those who don't want to know yet. Waiting is driving me craaaaazy. I keep checking how long until they grow up, even though I know very well exactly when it is.
