I accidentally killed all my new halloween eggs because I put them on a clicksite (like I usually do during non-releases) and when I checked back they were all dead from sickness. Given how high the demand is for recent event dragons I probably won't get any of this dragon for a few more years. : /

While I get where you are coming from, I respectfully have to disagree a bit. For some players, time zones and/or work often make it so that they aren't available to play when releases/floods occur or have circumstances that make it difficult to egg hunt. And when those players may otherwise be dedicated players who put lots of time and effort into the game, continually missing out on or being late to events can be quite frustrating and disheartening. So in this case it wouldn't be an issue of not having active players, but ones with the bad luck of unfortunate circumstances. At that point it can start to feel like you are being punished or left behind by the player base for things that are out of your control. Which isn't fun, and fun is ultimately what this game is for. A second, staggered flood would help mitigate this issue. It would be a reprieve for players who missed the initial flood, and would help even the playing field for players who simply can't participate during the initial flood even if they want to. There are several options for implementing two floods that would keep it from being "too easy" if you are concerned about it impacting the competitive side of the game. Like you said, Dragcave is a game, so competitive and challenging aspects are expected and enjoyed, but it is also just a game. As for this particular release, I'm really liking the new eggs, and the hatchlings look great! I'm a sucker for dimorphic sprites. I'm trying to hunt on the 5-min mark, since I'm still seeing drops then. No luck yet, but I've only got 1 slot till I'm egglocked anyways lol.

I wish the flood lasted longer, I've only seen three of the new eggs and haven't managed to grab any yet

Thanks! It was really hard to do and I had to redraw sections a bunch till I figured out the best way to do what I wanted. It took the entire runtime of George of the Jungle to make, but it was worth it!

Looking at @Nevemore's dragon cookies inspired me to make this! I think it turned out quite well!

I don't know if this helps, but Festival of Eggs just confirmed to me that they are still going through submissions, so if you haven't heard back yet about your egg it probably just hasn't been processed yet.

I want to make an egg gif for a festival of eggs entry, but I don't know how to do that. I have the sprites made, but I don't know how to make the frames into a gif. What programs do y'all use?

Ah okay, I suppose that makes sense. This is actually the first time failed zombies revived instead of disintegrating for me. Are they supposed to be untradable or is this a glitch?

So I've got a cavern lurker and pumpkin hatchling that I was thinking about trading. Both are failed zombie attempts that revived instead of disintegrating. However, when I went to put them up for trade I got an error message saying I could not trade eggs/hatchlings that do not belong to me. Clearly, however, these hatchlings are mine so what's going on?

My first release after coming back to Dragcave from my hiatus! These guys look great and I love seeing new in-cave artists! I've managed to snag at least two of each and now I'm egg-locked Looking forward to seeing what these guys grow up into
