ANSWERED:Pair refuse to breed after successful previous breedings

I've recently had a couple of instances when a pair that has had successful breedings in the past refused to breed. For instance, my CB gold and Sweetling used to produce eggs, but then a couple of months back when I tried breeding them they refused to breed.

I thought you could only get a refusal on the first time you bred two dragons.  And if a pair have produced eggs together, they won't refuse to breed. Is there something I missed about breeding?

Refusals are disabled during the holidays, if you breed a holiday dragon during its season, you’ll always get eggs. So if you bred the Sweetling and the Gold during Valentine’s season, they wouldn’t have refused then but the breeding after Valentine’s season would’ve been be their first “real” breeding where they could refuse.

Ah, enlightening! Thank you, I haven't considered that as a possibility. I suppose that must be the explanation then because I think the only eggs they have produced have been holiday eggs.

Thank you!
