I've been planning something similar for a while now. No ETA or details to share, but the mechanics on that are fairly set, so I can say you definitely shouldn't be surprised if you eventually see something that looks a lot like the the ideas that have been kicked around here.

Yay, this is such amazing news! Thanks for working towards it, TJ!

 

I always thought the discussion on ratios and drop mechanics was focusing a bit too much on rare breeds, while I had been unhappy mainly because I couldn't find the commons I was looking for. Come to think of it, the current situation with six biomes and three eggs for each feels almost absurd when there are over 300 breeds released. Even if all 18 eggs visible at one time were of different breed (which is rather an uncommon thing to happen)... that would still be a small fraction of all the wonderful dragons that there are on the site.

 

I hope more biomes, or dividing the existing biomes into sub-biomes, or multiple locations (all good ideas) - or anything similar - could help with this. I would absolutely love to see a greater variety of supposed-to-be-common dragons.
