The sound of skittering claws and banging tools of cutlery are sounding nearby. You spot an elaborate vehicle pulled by Horse Dragons. Around it is several other dragons who are messily dumping spices and meats into pots. A Leodon is manning the opened window as if it were waiting for someone to approach. It looks like a Traveling Food Wagon! Just your luck, maybe they can make you a large enough meal to keep your dragons from trying to eat you...

How does the Lineage Luncheon work?
A few things first to talk about! This is not always going to be 'accurate' to some recipes. A little bit of artistic liberty is always something I encourage. Some ingredient eggs will simply be hodgepodges of ingredients that I may toss out into AP at random for fun to see if anyone follows up. This Project is by no means private. That being said, if you want to participate in this project, I'd love if you DM'd me with your plan and ideas! I am happy to work with you and you can support the special Lineage Cook Helper banner.

Now, as for how it works;

• Most base ingredients such as spices, meats, and other products are planned to be CB first! This helps the lineages stay in theme and have a beginning to their creation!
• Several "seasonings" are bound to be replaced with lineages of spices, but the dishes made with them will be listed as (OG) or (Old) for sake of consistency.
• I am very new to this concept, so some lineage orders might take some time! Especially during event season. Please be patient with me.

 

I want to order a dish! How do I do that?
Easily! You can go about it in two ways. There's an ingredients list at the bottom of this post where you can see all available ingredients that aren't in use. Depending on what's available, you can custom order what you'd want! Or you can request something from my premade dishes list! This means dragons with premade dish names (Typically with previous lineages atm) will be bred with a simple seasoning for you to take! Once you make your order, depending on which version you decide, you will be listed on the custom order section of my excel sheet! You're welcome to check in on that sheet to see if your dish has been started or not.
Orders can be made by either DMing me directly via forums or discord, or you can make a response on this post!

When ordering, please remember to be patient! I am learning, but I have not forgotten you.

I want to join this project! How do I do that?
Joining the project can be done in several ways! You can start up your own line of ingredients, create your own premade dishes, or if you simply want to help flesh out the kitchen stock, you can offer to donate CB eggs! When donating any CB's, I ask that we talk it over first as some of my ingredients I like to have some visual representation of what they stand for (I'm also just slightly picky in general). Repeat of species are okay! There is no one dragon type for one ingredient only! (See my magi for example). If you want to help with custom orders, just let me know and we'll collaborate on our breedings!

This is a VERY fun idea for a lineage, I’m all about this! You mentioned needing a dragon to represent salmon. I recommend Carmine Wyverns, I used them for a (now defunct) salmon lineage many years ago. 

 

I’ll try to come up with an idea of a lineage to make for this project,,,

I’ve got one on the way actually! The Aranoa was one I really enjoyed the colors of, so I have one growing at this time, but I’ll look at Carmine! I’ve got time before I have a Salmon Representative.

I'm slightly confused on how this works so I'm seeking clarification-

To start our own line with the ingredients listed, do we need to get eggs bred from the founder dragons in the spreadsheet? Or are we allowed to say, use our own red dragons and name them tabasco and just use the spreadsheet as a guideline for which breeds can be used for each ingredient?

You're welcome to start your own! This isn't a private project, as I welcome all interested. And if you want to, you can get a spot on the excel sheet to organize and coordinate with others on the same project. You can also wear a signature that says Lineage Cook to sport the project if you wanted to! Just let me know and I can help you get set up. You have no need to follow my design as a step by step guideline.

And a question about that - I see you have pygmy breeds in your ingredients. If I wanted to use only pygmies for my ingredients, is that okay?

I can get you added to the excel sheet with your own section if you’d like! I can happily provide a template for you to use. If you’re doing a Pygmy bakery, please don’t feel like you need to follow my guidelines! You have full creative freedom! Mimosa mate is doing Pygmies too for broils!

I've been keeping an eye on this thread, because really like this lineage idea! I might participate myself eventually, if I can scrounge up enough ingredients.

 

For now though, I would like to order some fresh hollandaise sauce. The ingredients are eggs, butter, lemon juice, and salt. I don't know if you have a set pattern in mind for this lineage, or if it's more freeform, but I'm fine with any pattern. Thanks, and let me know if I've done this right, or if I need to be more specific or anything

Hey Helpers, I need your inquiry. How do y'all feel about if I made a discord for the helpers to be able to communicate more openly with? That way if someone orders a dish that you can do via specialty, we can quickly talk it out!
