2 days ago I killed an egg because it was CONSTANTLY SICK ( even though it was fogged for, like, 4 hours ).  After 24 hours I still see the shell?

It stays for 2 weeks and then will disappear.

Also, if you have an egg that is constantly sick you should fog it for longer, up to 24 hours. Eggs can get sick again easier if they get too many views right after recovering from sickness.

 

Eggs can't hatch until the counter is below 4 days left, so fogging for a day isn't a big deal. Also, avoid adding your eggs to hatcheries unless they are at least 24 hours old. When eggs are very young, they can get sick very easily if you add them to multiple hatcheries. Even only one hatchery on a 7 day old egg can get it sick.

It looks like your egg had over 2,000 views and was only one day old. That is too many views while it is too young.
