The thing is that the breed egg description always stays the same, and this dragon breed makes a pink egg non-negotiable. The egg is bright. And pink, after all. We can just decide how pink it is.

 

Also, the S1 is already fairly pale: 

Will it really make a visual difference to make it even paler?

 

Like I still have trouble telling normal Vines and alt Vines apart, so I am stuck waiting until the S2 stage any way.

 

So, if there is going to be a difference in the alt hatchlings, I want it to be drastic.

Sort by breed can tell you more easily if a Dark Green hatchling is alt - if you have at least 1 adult alt, that is, with which an alt hatchling would sort.

That...is a true fact. Thank you for that.

This makes things so much easier.

 

Still want the alt to be obvious though for eyeballing purposes.
