Problem with creating a new group

I'm having a problem with creating a group.  When I go to select the dragon, it looks like this:

 

 

And when I select the sprite with the letters underneath, it highlights the two sprites at once:

 

 

I've done the usual remedies like restarting the browser and opening the site in another tab, but it still appears like that.  Any suggestions?😖
