Santae is a new pet site, combining RPG elements like in-depth world lore and NPC questing with traditional pet site features, like .. virtual pets, of course lol, collections (food, books, stamps), a humanoid avatar with plenty of clothing options to suit all styles, and more! It is in the Beta stage of development, with referral-based signups open for the next month! There are many features available, with each user getting 12 pet slots to begin with; these are upgradable via consumable items for a max of 135 pets! There are cute animated avatars (achievements) to unlock, some games (basic for now, like Checkers, but with lots more planned!), events that herald new on-site features packed with lore and new discoveries, such as new pet species, new items, new areas of the world etc, the aforementioned humanoid avatar to dress up to your liking! Pets are more than just looking gorgeous too; you can cook food together, go fishing, collect berries with your pal, and you can even tame minimals (like Petpets on Neopets or Familiars on FR) to gain their trust! All these mentioned features are interactive; the minimal herding is like a cool little creature tamer game, and the cooking and fishing requires your input, it's not just a static click, refresh page! Exactly, if an egg is saved by a catcher you can do another exp on it 24 hours later if you wish. I did this with someone's ND-fail Zyu egg and it turned for me the next day LOL (original owner was lovely enough to let me keep!). Though, you don't tend to use hatcheries for those until near the end. I put mine in one hatchery with 25ish seconds left to death and it turned/insta-hatched with 2 more unique views than it had before the exp, and then myself and like 4 other people ARing it LOL. If you want to start making NDs often I really highly recommend a catcher or enlisting some AR help!! It makes the process smoother most of the time!

I love the new sprites! Omgosh the Thunder is stunning now - silently hoping for a Magma and Ice update at some point~ ! 😊 The Magi was one of my least favourite sprites always lmao and I've been staring at it on and off since 2008, I adore it now! So cute! Lil greyhound guy! Same with the Lacula; I collected one for completionism but I disliked them a lot; not anymore! Thank you spriters for all of your hard working bringing these changes to life; they are perfect!!

HAHA even with my Zyus I don't start ARing until 2 mins before time of death and I don't even touch a hatchery for at least the first half a minute after beginning the AR. It's actually amazing to me that you're getting successes with 6 mins before death! o: Is it consistent? Might be a new method to try that isn't so stringent.

The Zyumorph method is my preferred tbh since you generally don't need someone to catch the egg. With regular experiments, the vast majority of the time the egg can't actually hatch after turning, there's just not enough time left, so you incubate the chosen egg, and get a friend or someone trusted to catch the egg onto their account for you - you'd make a teleport and give it to them beforehand. The incubate gets wiped out by the act of teleporting, so your new neglected egg actually gains 24 hours; plenty of time to hatch it without stress. With the heavy-duty eggs (zyu, prizes, etc), they need more views to hatch in general, so you just preload them with some UVs before the day of death, and then on the day just AR them and add the egg into a hatchery or two. The egg should instantly hatch once it turns since I believe the two breeds (negs and zyus/prizes) need roughly the same amount of unique views to hatch. If it doesn't hatch instantly it'll turn with a huge hole most likely so it'll hatch soon after. EDIT TO ADD: just did my second experiment using the Zyumorph method that was a success! :3 Preloaded with 227/68/1, ARed at 2 mins before death, added to Valley Sherwood at 1,5 minutes before death, added to Silvi's Lair 25 seconds before death, then the baby turned at 1485/99/6 ! :3

This is probably mega wrong, but if your egg is fogged then the auto refresher won't pick it up. Just saying because I've seen some experiments where the person forgot to unfog the egg! Also 4 minutes is actually too early for NDs! You should ideally start autorefeshing at 2 minutes before death, and stick it into a hatchery or two max at around 1,5 minutes before death.

So my very first Neglected experiment (using a Blue Zyumorph egg) was a success, turned and hatched just as Shadowdrake's guide said it would! Thank you soo much for the guides and also to the UoD server for your expertise, guidance, and all of your help! Couldn't have done it without that amazing community! 😊💜

Yep yep, I saw this too, but it lasted much less time than most other single-breed walls I've seen, so maybe it's working?

Oops, thank you! I was linked to Shadowdrake's extremely helpful guide post from 2019 and read that. Okay, so don't touch the egg until about 3 mins left. Then add it into hatcheries ALONG WITH the autorefresher? There are five slots in the linked AR, do you use all 5? Or less? Shadowdrake's guide also says that you can give the egg a little amount of UNIQUE views (says 60 to about 100) any time before the actual experiment - is this still an applicable course of action? Apologies for so many questions - I'd just like to be clear since I've never done this before! 😱

I've bred my first Zyu to try to make a Neglected and Im so nervous LOL, wrote down the exact time (hr, minute, second) it bred. I have one question about the method - it says that you unfog the egg around 15 mins before your attempt. Then you .. only you? Give it views with The Allure of Neglected Dragons' autorefresher thing? You put it into multiple boxes there? Or do you add the egg into hatcheries at this time ALONG WITH the auto refresher? (English isn't my first language so some of the wording is a touch confusing to me, I apologise!). Thank you for any help! ;_;

I might be misremembering but I feel like dragon names on very very inactive accounts (I'm talking months? A year+ here) used to get purged and therefore available once again for other players. Does this still happen?

I got Utrecht last night which is a pretty okay-sized city in the Netherlands! Surprising since most other bigger city names I try are taken haha.

I can see you've had a few successes; congrats on that! Must be a stellar accomplishment HAHA. I think I'd be content with one for now but the process seems so stressful..
