I use a fuzzy yarn for my cats when I want a long hair amigurumi cat. However I hunt for a cotton based yarn because it keeps the shape better. Sometimes I do cheat and order a fuzzy wool yarn online. The only time I use that fun fur yarn is to add through what I have already made. If I had pictures I would post them but I sent the animals to my nieces in Oklahoma. A friend is recommended the Luxe Fur of Lion Brand. She has a half-done Jiji the cat and I may steal it from her. It is soft, fuzzy and retaining the shape really well. (I found the pattern in this thread)

Oh my those are cute Roses. Im still working on my afghan and my god is it heavy! Im only halfway done too Never again am i going this big. Finished size is 6ft x 7ft Ripple I will take pictures when im done i promise!

I had that problem when i was making mine but then i remembered what my mom told me about keeping the sides straight. If you are using a double Chain and chaining 4 to go on the next row drop one and chain 3. It kept my edges a lot straighter and nicer looking. Kanaye I do know what you mean. I had to take out a row and half of from my blanket cause i missed like 5 stitches and it screwed up the pattern. T.T Ripples can be majorly affected by missing stitches

Ouch Kanaye.... Since i dont knit i must ask. Is it easy pulling out the stitches like in crochet or no?

I have a very cute Octopus pattern but its not so realistic as its more anime looking. Free Pattern Its free and they are so cute

Thats Horrible!! 1 gal pulled that here but when she seen the handmade blanket made for her, she changed her attitude. She ended up getting 5 handmade blankets plus everything she registered for. Turns out the blankets were the best thing she got.

Ever get to the point you just want to give up? I made a pair of scarves for my parents for Christmas and now that we have 25 inches of snow and its like 10 degrees (F), they wont use them. They used them once after Christmas but then never again. I just left my other major project undone after that. After all i felt like my hard work wasnt wanted, but i had a bit of encouragement thanks to my BF who seen it and told me it was a beautiful afghan and he cant wait to see it done. I finally started working on the afghan again since it is for him.

Thats a cute hat! Its ok if you dont have pictures. I have the problem of uneven edges until i realized i wasnt going through the right loop to make it nice and even. I had to redo the start of a scarf and now its nice and even.

If i had a Holly to breed you would so be getting an egg! Awesome song!

Those are cute! I have half done on both the scarves I have been working on for Christmas and a good ways done with the afghan. lol Its hard work but the finished product is so worth it!

I have a question. Is needle felting hard? I ask because that Dragon is cute!
