  1. Finally bred a tan ridgewing! Ugh, been waiting FOREVER.
  2. FINALLY successfully bit a vampire egg that *actually stayed on my scroll*. I can't count HOW MANY times they've been auto abandoned. That's happened more than they've simply died. >:I
  3. Ahh, I *just* got into Doctor Who on the insistence of my SO, and I haven't seen many episodes, but I'm already hooked. I have a lot of feels about this show. Especially David Tennant's Doctor, but I'm a bit biased because I started with him. I've seen from Forest of the Dead to Journey's End (which gave me Sherlock feelings from Reichenbach again...) and also Planet of the Ood. I don't know which one from Eleven I've seen, but I think I can get used to Matt Smith over time. c:
  4. Took this picture of mum and her boyfriend holding hands. I had a few of them, but this is the one I submitted for photography class SO. strength
  5. hehe, i'm 18 so i guess that's technically legal adulthood. i'll be 19 in december. been playing dragcave for about two or three years.
  6. Mine was, uh...about 6 or 7 months ago? It was with my first and current boyfriend. c: If you want to count actual kissing on anything other than the cheek, I think it was on our seventh or eight date (eight weeks into the relationship) at the park near the railroad track under an awning. We held eachother close and he just gently kissed me, mouth closed. It's a very fond memory. It wasn't what you would call "romantic" like in the rain or while dancing slowly together, but it was perfect in every way for my first kiss~
  7. I'm partial to the darker coloured ones, but I got two of each regardless. They're surprisingly easier to nab from the cave than the moon and sunstone dragons were~

    Meat

I personally want to cut meat out of my diet (I only eat poultry and fish now.) for the simple reason that thinking of it being a once living animal makes me feel a bit ill (and guilty). I understand that the animals will die either way, but mentally getting past the fact that I'm putting that animal into my mouth and chewing it (etc etc) makes me feel icky and sad and stuff. I've cut out milk (for some superficial reason that had ties back to 7th grade lunchtime... not milk products, just milk itself), pork, and red meats ENTIRELY, so it feels right to stop eating poultry and fish as well. I have no problem with eggs as long as they are from properly treated chickens (free range tastes better, imho), and I've seen too many trout prepared fresh right in front of me to feel comfortable eating them any longer. Still, we were made to eat both flesh and plant material. I think that we are smart enough to make our own decisions, so we should be in our rights to choose whether we want to eat one or the other, or both. There are ways to be healthy with each choice, just as there was ways to be unhealthy with each choice. Aside: PETA is crazy. Sure, they gave me the first idea to stop eating meat, but that was a long time ago. Now, I've found my own reasons that have nothing to do with PETA why I don't want to eat animals. Whereas I don't do it more for my own personal feelings, those people are extremists who resort to fear mongering and shock to get their points across. If you're gonna be a vegetarian just to save the animals from horrible treatment you saw on the PETA website, please consider getting your info from more trustworthy sources.
  9. I am purposefully inbreeding a brother and a sister split that were gifted to me (with permission of course). Just putting it out there that I will breed brothers and sisters down the line, two at a time, and if anyone wants one for whatever reason, I will be glad to gift. Other than that, when I become unlocked, I will happily accept any inbred splits to add to the collection. Although I prefer them to be low gen for breeding purposes, any unwanted inbred splits will find a home on my scroll. I will offer inbred splits when they become available to me. c:
  10. Same same same. I've had to rewatch all the films at least twice (and, in the case of the sixth film, three times), I've become obsessed over Pottermore (Slytherin will surpass Ravenclaw some day soon!), and I plan to reread the books from the start. I've also started to obsessread lots of HP fanfic. Maybe the same thing happened with Silent Hill. I, er, saw the film literally fifteen times, played the second, third, and fourth games twice, and all I could ever talk about for a while was Silent Hill. Okay, I admit it, I have an obsessive personality. sob
  11. Oh geeze, Homestuck to the extreme. This has been going on for over a year. Approaching two years maybe, starting back in late 2008? I've lost track. But everything is Homestuck. Everything. i warned you about homestuck. i told you dog.
  12. My room is all over the place right now, but I'm in the process of tidying up a bit (looking for my class ring, ugh). As far as layout goes, it's pretty small. I have four dreamcatchers (one on the door, one beside my bed, one above my bed, and one hanging on a wolf poster), a windchime made of driftwood and large oyster shells and another on my closet door made of sea urchin spines, a guitar and a sword in the corner, a hand made plague doctor mask hanging by the door, a corner dedicated to my stuffed animals, a corner with a shelf completely swamped with crystals/incense/alter items/art junk, and a wall where my hermit crab Romeo's cage is surrounded by water bottles, shells, and packs of crab food. >_>
  13. Mints and TastesLikeMint came from about two years ago. I used to be the mint woman; as in, I would stuff my little purse full of peppermints and would give them to my calc class every day. I smelled like mints because of the odour radiating from my purse. SmellsLikeMint doesn't sound quite right, though. >_>
  14. I am definitely interested in the Sweetling tee omg it's so adorbs. Alas, I am short on money, and will probably only be getting a few mini pins instead to satiate my BURNING NEED. :c
  15. I have an insane fear of spiders. I cannot stand looking at them, being around, and when I even see them, I go into panic mode (anxiety, sweating, shaking, wanting to cry, heavy breathing, frozen in fear). Scorpions are a little better, but I'm still afraid of them. I hate centipedes/millipedes when they're tiny, but Giant African Millipedes are alright (I even held one and thought it was cute!). Other bugs are scary, but only when they appear out of nowhere. Like, I hate roaches, but I loved letting some Madagascar Hissing Cockroaches cling to me and even thought they were cute. I also have a phobia/fear of deep water, especially if it's murky. Diving pools scare me, and the open ocean terrifies me to no end. I always stop up when I see images of underwater, where you can't see anything but blue for miles. Along with my fear-bordering-phobia of deep water, I have an actual phobia of large things, but only if they're underwater (?). A building or a big statue wouldn't scare me, but things like whales and icebergs send me into panic mode. Imagine my horror when I came to the Arctic iceberg ridden area in Endless Ocean 2 (despite being afraid of the ocean, I still find it beautiful; the game was very beautiful, but still gave me minor panic attacks at certain points), or the part where you swim out into the open ocean full of blue whales. I was near tears, shaking and trying not to curl up into myself and shut the game off. :I tl;dr Spiders, deep water, and big things in deep water scare me to even think about them. eta: NEEDLES. I pass out every time I get my blood taken/get a shot. I got my H1N1 shot. Didn't feel a *thing*. They took it out and I passed out. Got blood drawn, cried and passed out. >_>
