  1. I haven't been as active on DC as I would like lately, but I am still steadily working on the lineage! We aren't too far off from having another 5th Gen. Slow but steady! I could really use some more CBs, or 2nd gens, if anyone has any to spare.
  2. There was a nice Neotropical wall earlier today, still quite a lot of them in the AP!
  3. Super excited to have a new release! So far I've gotten two pygmies, fingers crossed for some of the chill dragons.
  4. I love whoever sent all the nice 2g Falconiforms to the AP! And I'm loving the low time right now. 😍
  5. We've gotten our first 3rd gen egg! I updated the project information post. https://dragcave.net/lineage/VjmAB
  6. I did my big weekly breeding, and got one 2nd gen egg and two 3rd gen eggs. ^ - ^ I also wanted everyone to know that if any of you want to get eggs from each new generation we reach, I would be more than happy to provide them! Just let me know if you want to have some nice high-gen eggs to show off and I'll put you on the waiting list. Also, if any members of the lineage don't have a lot of dragons to breed or struggle with catching their own CBs, you can help out a ton by taking in other people's eggs! If you take CBs or bred eggs onto your scroll, that means that we as a group have more egg slots for more indigos! If anyone wants to help out in this way, let me know.
  7. @Mremaknu accepted! I will add you to the members list. @Homicida once I get an 8th gen it will include your lineage, and I will make sure to give you an 8g egg once I have one. It will still be some time till we have 8G eggs though.
  8. I've decided to have generational milestones, and at each milestone, more money will be donated per generation. This gives us fun goals to work towards! I figured that it made sense since by something like generation 15 it could easily take us over a year to increase the generation, so there needs to be more of a reward. The new milestones can be found in the Clan Information post. I hope you guys like this change! I also think that I want to have a mass breeding event on April 22 since the Orianne Society celebrates Earth Day as "Herp Day" and generally has a large fundraiser. "Herp" is just a general term for reptiles and amphibians since the study of these animals is known as herpetology. Let me know if any of you would be interested in joining in a breeding event like this!
  9. @Homicida Thank you! I offered a dummy egg. (:
  10. I bred another 2nd gen, so we're going to have our first 3rd gen soon! https://dragcave.net/lineage/g6Ew6
  11. I've bred a 2nd gen egg! If anyone wants it, just let me know - if not I may use it to start working on an even-gen! https://dragcave.net/lineage/SCEzb
  12. I’m very sorry for missing the tp link @Homicida but if you breed another egg, I’ll be able to take it!
  13. Accepted, and added to the member list! I sent you a 1st gen egg. 🙂
  14. Pack Information Once the pack has grown in size, we will use a different breed to start a side pack. This is where all information regarding side packs will be found.

  16. Welcome to our territory! Back in 2013, I started a lineage dedicated to wolves. I ended up getting very busy with IRL matters, so the thread eventually went inactive and was closed. But I'm much more consistently active these days, so I've decided to revamp it! This lineage will use Storm/Gray Dragons, because their colors are reminiscent of gray wolves and reflect the name Silvermoon well! I initially chose the name Silvermoon because it was the name of a wolf pack I roleplayed with as a child. This lineage will be similar to the original lineage, but with a few tweaks. If you were part of the original lineage, you will have to reapply, but all of your old Silvermoons are still considered a part of the project, so you won't have to wait to get a new egg. The goal of the lineage is to have something fun to do with common dragons, as well as promoting some good ol' wolf loving! While gray wolves are not an endangered species, there are several subspecies that are endangered, such as the Mexican Gray Wolf. Wolves are great ambassadors that can be used to teach people about ecology, social animal behavior, hunting behavior, and the environments they live in. Wolves are good umbrella species, as they occupy large territories, many of which are in imperiled ecosystems. So, while not all wolves are in need of saving, they are certainly very cool animals that can be used to teach a lot of valuable lessons. Pack Operations In nature, wolf packs form when a male and a female come together and have pups. The pack is usually made up of the breeding pair, some adult offspring from previous litters, and the current pups. But very rarely, super-packs will form, with many unrelated adults joining the pack and having many litters of pups each year. This is the goal of the Silvermoons: they want to grow their pack! Like all wolf packs, there was an original breeding pair: Silver Moon Lupus and Silver Moon Arctos. Their offspring must now set out and find mates of their own! To join the lineage, you will first get an egg from the main Silvermoon line, descended from Lupus and Arctos. From there, you will be able to breed it with CBs! You can breed them in any pattern you like - spiral, stairstep, evengen, etc. Just make sure that the lineages are purebred and don't incorporate any bred dragons that aren't part of the lineage. In the future, we will likely have side lineages to represent different wolf populations. These will be allowed to be interbred, but in the meantime, keep it Gray exclusive, and try to incorporate an actual Silvermoon descendant in your lineages! Reporting every Silvermoon egg is not required, but members are encouraged to report new eggs/lineages they are starting! Pack Law And the wolf that shall keep it will prosper, but the wolf that shall break it must die. All dragons in the lineage must have "Silver" or "Silvermoon" in the name. It doesn't matter to me whether it comes at the start or end of the name. "Silvermoon" is preferred, but "Silver" is acceptable if you need the extra space for the name itself. Mates of Silvermoon descendants don't have to follow the naming rule, but it is preferred. Keep the lineage purebred. There will be exceptions to this in the future, but for now, Grays only. No inbreeding. No gifting or trading. Silvermoon eggs should only ever be given to fellow lineage members or people on the waiting list. No abandoning, killing, freezing, biting, earthquake, or neglected attempts. Optional: Having your Silvermoons mate for life is preferred. It is also preferred that direct Silvermoon descendants be included in all purebred lineages. Neither of these things are required!! Pack Forms I would like to join the pack! 20. 🦈 Introduction 🦈 The Selachii Tsunami Lineage is a Purebred Even-Gen lineage using Tsunami Wyverns. I have always loved Tsunami Wyverns, as I'm a bit of a wyvern addict and I love their blue colors! This lineage has a shark theme, and the surname "Selachii" is a shortened form of the shark family's scientific name - Selachiimorpha. Sharks are super cool animals with a wide variety of tools that help them survive, from sensing electric currents to being covered in tooth-like scales. They also serve a very important role in the environment, and are some of the most resilient animals out there, having lived through all of Earth's mass extinction events! Even though they've been highly successful throughout history, many species are now experiencing rapid declines due to overfishing and habitat loss. The spots on Tsunami Wyverns' wings reminds me of the speckled pattern of whale sharks, which are the biggest shark, and are also listed as an endangered species. Blusang Lindwurms also have a lovely spotted pattern, so we may breed those in the future as a side project! We hope to make waves with this lineage! For every generation of this lineage, I and any other donors I can find will donate $1 to Shark Advocates International, a group dedicated to educating the public and fighting for stricter legal protection for sharks across the globe! 🦈 How It Works 🦈 I will be the owner of the core line! Once other members reach whatever my current generation is, they can send the egg to me and I can breed it into the main line. For example, if the lineage is at 5 generations, and someone produces a 5th gen egg, they will send it to me so I can breed a 6th gen! Eggs will have to be reported and confirmed in the thread, and then the teleport link will be PMed to me. If you don't want to help with the project but still like PB Tsunami even gens, then you're in luck! We will have a list of breeders who are willing to breed and gift eggs to non-members. 🦈 Rules 🦈 ALL dragons involved in the lineage must have the surname "Selachii" This means that if you find a nice PB Tsunami even gen in the AP, or have 2nd gen PB Tsunamis that you didn't breed, the dragon can't be used for the project. Every dragon in the lineage must be a Selachii. So if you already have an even gen or PB 2nd gens, you will have to rename the parents. You can name your dragons anything you like as long as the word Selachii is at the end! Each egg laid must be reported in the thread! Eggs must be reported, confirmed, and PMed to me in order to be bred into the main line! No killing, biting, freezing, abandoning, or earthquake Selachii eggs/hatchlings needed for the lineage. Once one egg has been bred and kept from each pair, you are free to abandon or trade eggs. I just want to avoid people setting back progress by abandoning/tradings eggs that could be used to further the lineage. Killing/biting/freezing/earthquaking is never allowed. No inbreeding. Feel free to collaborate with breeding in the thread! Discuss who should breed with who, etc. 🦈 Forms 🦈 I would like to join! 21. Homicida has been added to the members list! Glad to have you on board. :D
  22. I have just made the first donation to the Orianne Society for this project! We now owe them $0. Here is the receipt of the donation with sensitive information blurred out, of course.
  23. We Have Reached A New Generation! Generation: 7 Link: LR4ok I updated the Clan News post!
  24. Hi guys! Sorry I haven't posted in the thread for a while. I just produced this 5th gen, and kripsykrem kindly gave me her 5th gen hatchling, so we should get to gen 7 within a few weeks!
  25. Welcome, Arctic! I'll add you to the members list. ^-^ ATTENTION: The next person who breeds a 3rd gen egg should send it to @MelanieMartin. Please PM her when the egg is produced. Once she has a 3g egg, she'll be able to produce a 4g and send it to me. Once that's done, I will have enough dragons to quickly produce a 7th gen!!
