Just going to bring this up again because it is getting buried.

Look, while everyone is discussing what is right and what is wrong, I wanna say this Yes, I used to trace. Keyword - USED to. I did this to help learn anatomy a while ago (back when i was 11/12 - 2008/2009 - note this) Then I moved onto odeen says she does, looking at pictures and trying to imitate the pose, but with drawing a different picture. A lot of artists do this to learn. The dragon sketch was made over three years ago, but not by me. I made a concept sketch, but it was not the one used for the sprite, it was simply to show the design. I again, did watch eef make the sketch, as we were discussing on how things should be on the dragon. There was one (1) reference that she used to help her with the positioning of the legs, the rest was done on her own. All of these images being shown were not that reference that she used, rather they are things that look similar to it - aka, a coincidence. Look, the last thing is that I want to ask for people to stop going out of their way and 'warning' other site owners about using eef's or my art. It isn't fair for us if people go out - again - on a witch hunt to destroy our image like that. Digging into our deviant art account (which, mind, with my account I haven't logged in in almost three years) to 'find' things that look like the pose our dragons are in is just wanting to make us look worse. I get that some of you are in a mood about this, but I just want it to stop, please. Both eef and I feel like we're now being stalked over this incident. We've started removing links to our other profiles because of it. We are both trying to distance ourselves from this in order to calm down and forget about it, but some of you are following us to other places to continue to make us look bad. Is it really fair for that to happen to us? I have asked for the names, descriptions and resemblances to our dragon be changed, and at the same time we will change the dragon so that it will look different in the future. Please, just for everyone's sake - leave this be. Please stop.

I did go to other already in-cave artists for crits about these guys over the years. All they pointed out was the dangly bit on the wing was weird before it was edited.

Look, I get that you have some beef with me, but could you maybe stop? Yes, I did trace in the past to learn about anatomy. I don't anymore, because I learned and apologised for it. Please stop. By extent, i'll put this here since someone decided to link eef's and my journals (please dont do that, actually) The basis of it was that someone thought we had traced the legs of our sprite, and well... Proceeded to go on a witch-hunt to try and find anything that resembles the legs of our dragon. Going so far as to look 5 pages into eef's deviantart favourites and picking out a piece that she favourited 6 years ago, that vaguely has legs like our dragon. Even if the pose we had was just a standard rearing pose, common for deer-like creatures. I watched eef draw the sketch, the most she did was use a reference for how the legs should be angled. But shame that it had only been pointed out after our dragon got released. By the way things played out, it seems that someone got salty about us getting a holiday release, and immediately tried to smear our names in the dirt. By the way - the dragons have been submitted every year for the past 3 years. Funny how the issue was only brought up after the release, and not the three years before, huh? I'm sorry everything played out like this, I never expected things to blow up like this because of some bloody legs. As a final note - Funny how TJ removed our sprites because our dragon's legs resembles that of any rearing animal, but these sprites exist on the site already - - exact same pose - Legs almost identical, only flipped But we had our sprites removed because the legs looked like that or any rearing animal, and therefor was 'traced'. Go onto the wiki and look at all the dragons, I assure you'll find similarities with a handful of dragons that, by TJ's words, are 'traced', but he hasn't said a peep about it.

I should apologise fro the -storm that my dragons caused on here. I regret submitting my dragon to dc now. While the newer spriter did a good job in the very short timeframe they had, I still would have rather my dragon be completely removed than have the sprites replaced. Sorry again, everyone.

Well, since people want to know - ~Removed~ This is what the original Cermorvous looked like. I don't know why it was changed without EEF's or my consent, but it was. Sorry to everyone. EEF and I were treated rather poorly about this release.

Kinda disappointed that it's another pink dragon and that it's not a new artist, but meh. Need less pink for valentine's dragons. More white/cream, red or even purple would be nice.

Sooo, apparently we can do this? I'll explain the eggs I made. The first one, as many guessed, is a Rose Quartz egg from the hit cartoon Steven Universe. When I first saw/heard Rose in the episode Lion 3: Straight to video, I fell in love with her character. And of course when I was asked to make an egg, I had to make a reference to Rose. Originally I had made the egg switch between all of the gems (Rose, Pearl, Garnet and Amethyst), though unfortunately my computer died (aka bluescreened) just as I was finishing it up, and I was too tired to make it again. Glad you guys like it and got the reference, though! The second one was actually just an experiment on playing with spriting textures, though it turned out better than expected. Added some bubbles, and huzzah, a deepsea egg!

Decided to go for something more simple, couple of rose bushes and a small pond, and a nice platter of food and stash of shinies. I might fix it up tomorrow after this cyclone hits :V

A nebula's here again today, earlier it was a shadow walker. Now only if this damn cyclone off the coast would stop slowing down my internet, so I could actually save my work >:I
