I'm not "taking it out" on anyone. I'm just tired of things popping up that wouldn't be necessary if there was a test system of some sort where they could work on stuff first. Obviously, beta testing on a live system does NOT go well. Hence, get sleep first, think about stuff, THEN do it. I imagine that. It's obviously not you, since you're not the admin. The actual admin makes software for a living, as do I. Stumbling from bug to bug is unfunny - but not only for the people responsible, but also for the users.

When the Golds were accidentally priced 700 shards, all purchases were undone and the shards returned. I'd imagine the same thing would happen here if the lilac market egg was a mistake. Huh. Merging didn't work?

It would also be the first breed where the breed-only alts are *above* the cave-found individuals in the Encyclopedia (see Black or Undine) so I'm wondering if maybe there is a chance for them to drop in the Jungle, just not yet? Moon-dependent? Sun-dependent? Seasonal?

That is rather interesting! So now we have the precedence of a breed-only egg in the Market - hoping for others like Geode etc, too!

@Nalyua Both b and c would turn, since EQ still was the last BSA to act on it, even if unaffected. The dead eggs ... don't really matter at that point. Influencing does not change colour, so you can do that anytime - naturally, only on eggs.

Man, the first day isn't even over yet, and we already have unrelated stuff cluttering up the biomes ... I was hoping to catch at least 1 of either Sapphire, Gemshard or Electric ...

Nowadays, unclaimed eggs from biomes get deleted on the hourly before the cave gets repopulated.

This is not even interaction with people you WANT to interact with, but rather hoping that any random AP stalker would actually make contact with you. There is a distinct lack of choice here, for this alt.

I love all the new colours (finally some PURPLE AND ORANGE GEMSHARDS) but the mechanics required for some of those variants ... Earthquake and Abandn, really?! Maybe I'm finally too old for this game.

No they didn't. They got a new name (Sophrosyne?), and so did their BSA - used to be called Expunge. Also, got a new Nilia from Nilia & Pumpkin, both fertilized, of course. So not a PB-only alt

Could be a previous forum username of someone else - I think those cannot be reused either. Too bad that these aren't searchable at all. (There should be a way on both site and forum to check if a name is taken/blocked already *before* actually changing it)

@Fyrebird It would make more sense to make it based on the scroll's ID, a numeric unique value you get when signing up. It's part of your login cookie, otherwise you pretty much never get to see it. That way, equal distribution of Snow Angel colours is more likely (even after people leaving DC) than with another algorithm based on the scroll name.

I suspect that this happens when the browser gets a major update. I had 4 as well, but I only need 2: from office and from home laptop Do you perchance have a habit of deleting cookies frequently or logging in only through "private" browser windows? That could be when DC does not "know" you've left those sessionsalready. Now to get used to all those new names around here ...
