I'm wondering if I should just trade for the coals now 😅 Drakes were practically effortless, but these are difficult even with the biome split and trying for hourly drops. And now the flood's ended.. gosh, I wish they were 24 hours. I'd like to be able to participate in drops reliably without having to stay up into the AM. ...Ahh, I accidentally egglocked myself with a Nebula... So I have to give up anyway. 🥹 I've never had such awful luck with a drop.

What cornndawg said, and when I "animated" the phases it certainly does look like the little guy is "swimming" around in there and then coming out at the end! Plus with the dead sprite being sort of shimmery, fading away rather than shattered, it seems like the egg is sort of "immaterial"...

I made little gifs showing off the "animation" of the Warden cracking sequence since I think it's so neat! (the only difference between them is that the 2nd is a little faster than the 1st)

I know - it's what I'm doing too. Just reporting my experience, I wasn't able to quickly find anyone else talking about it. Electrics change slightly in every hatchling stage, so I wonder if that's an indication that's the wrong way to go about it.

WOW!! these are all so stunning!! I'm so glad I managed to get them all... It doesn't seem like stunning has any effect on Stormherald hatchlings... hmm. At least that I can tell. I wonder what causes the electrification then? breeding like with Pyropellis..? Storm-riders' description also talks about seeking thunderstorms..

it was 152 for me at one point early this morning! xD I was only ever able to finally get one when the players started spreading out and so it dropped below triple digits in each biome. it might be nice to have an increased number of eggs available to click (rather than just 3 in every biome) but that's getting into potential new features and probably off-topic 😛 I am REALLY excited for the rest that haven't dropped in biomes yet.. the hatchies are so pretty!

yeah, it's rough to have the flood only be 16 hours when it starts at midnight, so the period is midnight - 4pm cave time, and on a weekday when people surely have to work no less..! you'll miss most of it just through having to sleep, and if you work like a 9 to 5, you're simply out of luck.. 😅 at least they should continue showing up for a while after this, unless they're rare.. 😓 it took me 2 1/2 hours of being there every drop to get a single egg last night, and checking again now, it hasn't seemed to get any better, still gone in 10 seconds or less.. wow!

OMG these eggs are all so beautiful?! i was there for the first release but every egg i clicked was already grabbed 😔good luck all!! i want 500 of the blue ones especially edit: omg 2nd drop was gone in literally under 10 seconds. IM gonna need good luck on this one edit2: 2 1/2 hours straight of hunting at every single drop and only got 1 egg bc they havent gotten over 10 seconds per drop... yeah im coming back to this one this is ridiculous lol

Yesss, that's exactly why I love it!! The effect comes off perfectly!! I love how that aspect of it suggests being underwater without actually depicting the water itself 💙🩵🤍

926 eggs to get... wow!!! minimum 3,704 mins, (or 61.7 hrs, or 2.5 days) max 11,112 mins (or 185.2 hrs, or 7.7 days) to get them all.. I've got a lot of catching up to do O_O edit: I think these are my favorites of 2026: I'm kinda regretting not going through with the submission I had in mind now, I started it but then gave up because I got intimidated by all the animated ones and thought I'd never be able to make it in.. =v=;; but now I see it wasn't impossible..! Oh well, maybe next year..

If you look really closely at the male sprites, they do actually have small golden accents on the feathers/scales that don't appear to be present on the female sprite. The wording does make it seem like the entire feathers would be golden, though.. 🤔

The ones there now all seem to have 1d 22h left, so you're probably fine to try it tomorrow. Unless you mean another mechanic I don't know about where limited dragons have a strict limit there or something- sorry!!
