got my two release day eggs of each breed (took a while), and it looks like these two have variant male/female sprites; the magnetic coal wyrm dragons' flame colors remind me a bit of astaarus (but that's where the similarity ends.) So I'm guessing it could be another case where the females have hotter flames since they're the ones who lay the eggs. The female drakes also have brighter coloring than the males, which could be linked to biological sex, but it could also be like the pillow dragons where the sprites are arbitrary (I wanna see the adult descriptions and maybe encyclopedia entries for them.)

I would literally have to grab another release-day caveborn to trade it today (those are the four I'm keeping) and I can't because I'm egglocked, but I'm sure somebody else will have some up (so good luck, if you haven't already traded.) and I do have CB gold lunar heralds already. I will likely be grabbing another few new releases from the cave in a couple days that I might trade for other stuff, though. At least these have been a little easier for me to pick up than the last release's rare trio.

I was thankfully able to grab two of each NR like I wanted before 4pm EDT (I'll be breeding some for free later.) Hopefully these are more common than the last release and they're easy to find for everyone in a few days. And yeah, I'm getting the stupid tombstone error page too so it must be the site itself

hmm, it would be nice to see the biome tracker spreadsheet pinned somewhere or edited into the first reply in this topic. also, 400 shards is cheap compared to the 2,000+ that the original trio cost in the market, I think I might buy me an extra trio for nice 2g breeding

Yeah, I wasn't sure how that would work. I thought maybe bolt dragons stunning them might make the electrified, that guess didn't happen; I wonder if other dragons with lightning in their sprites might work too though, I might try that

I'm not surprised that the first adult dragons are able to summon the bright spirit dragon similar to GoN mechanics, and I agree that certain dragon types when bred with the summoned one will probably create the new hybrids. The last one definitely looks like it includes life/death/time, the first one likely includes earth/air/water/fire, the second one obviously inlcludes magi and others- maybe light/dark

it's harder than the initial flood before 4pm EDT yesterday, but easier than the mixed drop after. I only spotted a few and still had trouble and I'll be going for two CBs of each breed, if I get more from patience/skill they will likely be traded in the market so hopefully people who can't catch their own will be able to get them through trading (I see lots of people who want to swap breeds, others who are offering other rare stuff for CB new releases.)

Good news- it's getting slightly easier to pick up the new dragons than it was yesterday evening; I got two more ocean ones today, one of them I'll be type swapping. so for everyone who's still frustrated, there's hope; and if you have trouble ninja'ing them from the cave, I've bought dragons from the market before- got my CB eclipse sonatas and my silver/gold (sadly those were already old and expensive) that way- and 100% recommend it since it's better than missing them completely and the price should start off nice and affordable. If they're like the original trio, 2000+ shards is nuts and they're worth the same as the Silver.

FINALLY GOT ONE OF EACH AAAAAAA!! (btw they're currently in alpine.) all I wanted was one of each from release day, the other three of each type I'm gonna want can wait.

okay, what the heck... I'm also frustrated I can't ninja everyone else, and it's totally fine to be frustrated because it's hard to grab the eggs. but for the people claiming if you can't pick them up, you're lazy? that's just mean. Not everyone, even with fast internet connection, has equally fast reflexes. The best tip I have for grabbing an egg is: don't just click on an egg after clicking the back to (biome) link, keep your cursor over the egg spot, hit ctrl+R, (or that weird mac button if you have one of those), and click on the egg spot instantly. If you don't have lightning reflexes that's not your fault and hopefully these will be common like the last few years' anniversary/birthday dragons; they should be easy to get once the initial flood is over. (and yeah, I do want three from release day myself, so I'm going through the mild torture lol)

I managed to grab one of the new eggs so far at about 10am (the one that looks like a metal chrysalis, lol.) hoping that one has a steampunk aesthetic. the Indiana Jones theme makes sense; maybe elemental adventure breeds searching for some mythical treasure/special dragon (and potential hybrids would be awesome.) Hopefully they drop more/get ninja'd less later today. I just want one of each today please 😢 Edit: I got two, one of the ash babies! Also gonna guess some logical/silly possible names: Storm Buddy, Storm Chap, Storm Dude (jk)... Storm Crawler? Storm Eater? for the ash one, maybe Iggy Azalea dragon... jk. maybe something Igneous. for the ocean themed ones, I got it... Kyra dragons even better, Label dragons lol (tbh I have no idea for this one, it'll likely not be English.)

hi hi hi, very most goodest dragons are such improve! totally permanent avatar that I'm totally not changing back ever!!! I picked one of my first ever dragons, Candlesnek. She would fit right in the world of tiny snek comics like dis~ also, I want to both thank and apologize to whoever else I was paired with because I totally threw them under the bus because I really wanted my second upside down mint (got one two years ago, last year I totally got eaten though, which sucks but ig it's fair lol.) and if that's also a joke and it's actually just RNG/coin flip, then I'm not sorry.

The new dragons look adorable, and I've already found my two cool-code eggies! (all-caps BACNZ and lowercase ejyas, like bacons and edgy yass? LOL)

I have lots of lovely flower color variants already. I'm seeing the full candy bar (lol pun not intended) and only 400 total candy; I haven't played any games today, it should've reset and I should be able to get 700 candy today

Looks like there's a chance of the plants cross-pollinating on their own (I'm sure someone else already discovered this) because I had two of my plants cross-pollinate before I did the rest manually! Looking forward to seeing what I get, not gonna read any spoilers. Also, I find it silly that "repot plant" means you change the pot style instead of moving the plant to a different location; I haven't decided what aesthetic I want for the pots yet so they're still plain.

Submitted my design, and I too thought the dragons wanted the sweater to match their body colors lol. And I got a third place which is pretty nice! (might've done better if the bell color was the same as something else; regardless, I love how it turned out.) Edit: I went back to match the colors better to see if I can get a different result tomorrow, even with the annoying bell being the wrong color V adjusted hex code (for the main elements) design V also my cardinal dragons will grow up today~

Yesterday I ironically missed the bit with giving the scone to Velvette- found the little Glystere first- so I didn't get the error where people got stuck; on the upside, Sage's sweater now has a cute silly garland with dragon face brooches and blue gift bows that I extended around her tail (with green pompoms), had to use the matching bow hat. (will show off the sweater again at the end of the event, don't wanna take/post a million screenshots.) And my NR dragons hatched yesterday, got them the day after Christmas because I forgot but that's okay; it was easier to find nice codes when the caves weren't flooded; they'll reach s2 tonight/tomorrow morning, probably when I'm sleeping lol *water we have here 😜

Interesting, it looks like "I want to match the sweater" means there are different special design options for different hatchling breeds. Also yes, some of the designs don't have color changing options, the snow dragon I chose doesn't come in other colors (but once again I went with the option that seemed the most adorable to me, my second fave was the penguin.) @Whiteberry unfortunately some things don't work on mobile, cookie decorating doesn't either. You'll have to manually put in the numbers (if you want colors to be the same hue/saturation but darker/lighter, you just have to keep the ratios of red/green/blue the same- for example, 255/255/0 is that bright yellow-lime color, and 127/127/0 would be a matching 50% olive color, darker but the same hue. Less saturation would be 255/255/127, that would give a pale yellow)

I love the hatchie/custom sweater, I had trouble choosing one so I went with Starsinger because her leetle arms are hiding in the sweater sleeves and it's super adorable I did also name one of my Starsinger AP hatchies Lighthouse Sage, so I have headcanonically "adopted" my hatchie friend from the story lol

I love the gummy wyrms (whether that's their real name or not), got my four eggs (two male, two female) and already gave them silly adorable names. Also I like the puzzle event and the chance to get a couple CB eggs I didn't have yet with candy, although as usual I grabbed way more AP Halloween eggs. pure refined sugar actually does not have a scent- pure sweetness can only be detected by tastebuds, but the other aromatic chemicals in sugary plants like sugar cane and fruit do, I'm guessing the eggs smell something like fruit candy

The moon cycle/curse just officially ended, I somehow ninja'd it by one minute without realizing (forgot to check the time/moon cycles), I just wish I'd got on sooner. Got one more curse in at 7:59pm EDT, at 8:00pm my Moonblights reverted to their original form. (also feel free to click my scroll link in my signature and view the ones I have, I take them out of viewing sites if they have enough views on them, I almost never have to fog them)

I noticed that my Action Log retroactively shows the egg image of a Drake hatchling who was cursed (after I dropped it back in the AP) as a Moonblight Drake egg, even though the egg I dropped was one of those ER-time AP 2g Vremyas, which is strange but interesting

at least the BSA was easy to figure out and it's werewolf inspired mechanics, hopefully I can use mine tomorrow when some of my hatchies grow up!

I'm guessing at some point (once or twice in the moon cycles) they'll transform, maybe they'll be able to bite other dragons (including drakes, pygmies and two-headed ones) and transform them into more moonblights? that would be new and interesting (although it would suck if it was like the vampire dragons and they have a chance of dying... get it, because vampires suck.... I'll leave now)

eggs all the same, but different dragon types? this reminds me of the Delta dragons but with more variety. This seems really cool. it probably won't be exactly the same as Deltas but who knows (besides TJ) got one from alpine and another from forest so far, but I'll have to make sure I get a bunch
