Not just me then. I've tried accessing from two browsers: neither worked. A couple of hours ago the hatcheries I use (DragHatch and AOND) weren't showing any eggs or hatchlings earlier and Silvi's Lair didn't load at all. Latest update is that the hatcheries are showing small amounts of eggs/hatchies, so maybe things are improving? I don't think it's just cave lag. I think it's something sitewide. I couldn't get in from following links in the Wiki, either.

Adult dragons being removed from the hatchery: Will they at least be there for a few hours after growing up? For some players viewing adults on DragHatch has been a good way of unlocking breeds for the market and encyclopaedia. If adults disappear as soon as they are grown it could make things difficult. Thank you for taking DragHatch on. It's been my go-to site for viewing and unlocking dragons for quite a few years.

Evina, thank you very much for DragHatch. I've enjoyed using it over the years, and it's been the main site I've used for giving views and unlocking new (or new-to-me) dragons. I've also enjoyed seeing some adults lingering to play with the hatchlings. Your work has been very much appreciated by a whole lot of us, and I am very grateful to you for providing the hatchery. I hope your health improves and that you are able to achieve whatever it is that's next in the pipeline for you. Other family members (Sianeira, Eilmarco, Emalel) also say thank you and wish you well.

Good grief, that was reminiscent of days gone by when a new release meant a mild episode of carpal tunnel pain! Finally got half a dozen, and that'll do for now. I wish the releases would last for a full 24 hours: there are so many more players now, and the increase in biomes isn't doing the trick now.

I got excited too soon. I can't use my candy canes to buy eggs in the market because I already have two cave-born dragons of each breed. Oh well... We need something else to spend candy canes on, if we can't buy market eggs. Wouldn't it be lovely if they could be converted to shards, or used to buy non-event eggs! (Dream on.....)

Finally something to do with all the excess candy canes! Thank you very much TJ, it's a great help. One niggle: the wording on the market page is a little misleading, implying that one may only have two of each breed of holiday dragon. It should be clarified that the limit on holiday dragons applies ONLY to cave-born dragons. Players can have as many bred holiday dragons as they wish or can get.

Flippin' 'eck as like! Trying to get a dino from Jungle is reminding me of the days of slow dial-up! One more hour and the drop will be over. This is getting - has got - silly. Hey ho.

24 hours would definitely be helpful.

@TJ09 thank you for extending the duration of the Hallowe'en egg drop. I very much appreciated being able to relax a bit and enjoy the game. It made a lot of difference to my daughter too. She wasn't able to get any eggs at all in the first 24 hours and was very pleased to find them still dropping later. I'm one of those calling for a full 24 hour monthly release. It gets very frenetic now there are so many more players, and by the time I can get to the cave on a Sunday the release is often almost finished.

Maybe it's just me, but I really wish the new egg drop could last a full 24 hours. I've spent most of today completely lacking any Internet access, as I often do on a Sunday. :'(

I really hope this drop is going to last long enough for those of us in other time zones to have a good chance of catching them. By the time I get online on a Sunday it's usually afternoon my time and a couple of hours later the new eggs stop dropping. Would it really be too much to ask to have a 24 hour drop so we all have a reasonable chance of getting new eggs? Please?

Aarghh! Seven new releases and only three slots available! Why do I play this game? I need a life! Oh wait, we're coming up to a drop... I'm going in!

It's only mid-afternoon Cave Time, and already the release drop has ended. 😢 Can't the release drop even last for 12 hours?

Oh. Over already? I was hoping the drop would last for 24 hours to give those of us in different time zones a decent chance, but no such luck. It is apparently 20:15 Cave Time, and the drop has already finished. I've checked at various times during the day and not managed to get any of the larger eggs. There was never any shortage of the pygmy egg, but I decided not to be greedy so I'd have space for the others. Drat.

Also, you don't have to be in the same place. I know plenty of people who play D&D online, and apparently it works well.

I just had a look at the other scroll. Given that it doesn't even seem to have the original eggs one would expect to find on a new scroll, is it worth asking for it to be removed? It obviously hasn't had any activity at all, so it won't be doing any harm if it no longer exists.

Have you tried putting your scroll name in without the full stop, to see what happens?

This morning I've gone from the first screengrab to the second, having had a few days of the first one. It's not ideal, but at least now there's something to click. There's no longer a preparatory 'wait a few seconds and we'll let you in' screen - but I didn't mind that because it was obviously necessary at the time and much better than the site falling prey to DDOS. Actually, not knowing what one's clicking on until the page loads stops people being selective about clicking, which might be a good thing in some ways. Evina - thank you so much for all your work keeping your hatchery going. It really is very much appreciated by all your users.

You're not alone. It was fine earlier, but won't load at all now. It's odd, because you'd think the load would be a lot less now that a lot of people are back at work and education today.

I completely agree. Advent means 'coming' or 'arrival' and is the four weeks immediately prior to Christmas. By all means have an event starting on Christmas day, but must it be called 'advent'?
