Well, my second summon was succesfull and I only have 2 sets of 3 and 2 extra eggs. If it really is RNG, it's the first time it's working in my favor. Usually RNG hates me 😜

I am so pleased to see the cockatiel dragons made it incave. I used to stalk their request treat and really hoped they would make it one day. Well done spriters; they are as gorgeous as I remember. The butterflies look amazing too, absolutely love their coloration. Really looking forward to unraveling their gender/breeding mechanics.

Nope Since everyone is stalking the Volcano Biome, I thought I would have better luck catching some Tetra's. But just like the Fire Gems, they are very illusive. Haven't seen one in the last 24h (Okay I wasn't hunting while sleeping, but still) And that while there are less then 10 people in those biomes Did catch a Gaia though, the first one I caught myself since their initial release

I kind of figured out that would be the way to go about it. But how do you do that? I can bump into him, but nothing happens when I do. Am I supposed to just start typing a conversation (which doesn't work) or did I missed reading some rules that explains how to start a conversation. How do you guys even get your axe I'm stuck in the shop and I'm supposed to buy an axe but nothing happens. I keep wandering in the shop but there is nothing I can do. Just wandering and bumping into things. And every time I pass the door; Perl asks: "Have you bought the axe yet?" But that's it. How are you supposed to buy an axe. Are you sure you killed your hatchie? Sometimes the little buggers tend to evade your blade and stays happily alive on your scroll. Trying again on the same hatchie will just give you the same result

Love the eggs, and the hatchies look great. Great work to the spriters Just a wild guess: Has anyone considered different sprites according to hatching time, like day/night glory and sunrise/sunset? It might explain why 2 of the eggs hatch so much later than the others. And why the poem at the top is written with "/" instead of ","

I feel exactly the same. Since the introduction of the new page layout, I have serious lag at the top of the hour, not being able to do anything for 3 or 4 minutes, sometimes even up to 6 or 7. Mine still have a day to go before they grow up. I'm so happy I managed to get at least one of each biome, since I haven't been able to catch anything since they stopped flooding. Hope they become a little bit easier to catch soon. I still haven't managed to fill up on my scroll goals for the gems that were released a few releases ago. I hope it goes a little bit easier with these beauties

Then I'm wondering what part of Europe you're living in, because I live in Belgium (Western Europe) and the first drop was around 9 in the evening for me. Which isn't that late at all, not even if you have to get to work the day after. (At least, I think it was 9, could have been 8; but I don't think so) I got online just before 10 in the evening, like I usually do and noticed the new release. So I filled up my scroll at the 10 pm drop

I'm probably going to hurt a lot of people by saying this; but I really don't get what all the fuss is about YES, these eggs dropped unexpectedly! YES, these eggs dropped only for a short period of time! YES, it's looking like this is going to be a rare(ish) breed! ... But hey, we have a new breed in the cave, and that's something wonderful And what if these are a bit harder to catch. And what if you weren't around the moment they got released in the cave for the first time. And what if you have to work harder to catch them. No harm done, it's a permanent breed, so they will stick around for a long time. (I'm not going to say forever, because breeds have been known to retire in the past) Which means that there is a lot of time to get your hands on some of these lovelies. And yes, I understand that some people are disappointed by the unexpected release, and the "maybe" strange hour of the release. But guess what: we are a large community with people from all corners of the world. So the timing of a release will always coincide with some people being at work or being asleep in the dark of night. That's just the way it is. There is just no possible way to make it a perfect timing for everyone. And I think that is just something we have to accept. For me, being on DC is not just about catching eggs. The main thing for me, is that it is not easy. That I have to work for the eggs I want regardless if that means I have to stalk the cave, try to breed lovelies, or have to interact with other people hoping to trade for something nice. If it were just as easily as catching all the eggs I want as soon as they come out, without having to work for it; I don't think I would stick around long. The challenge of getting what I want, is what makes it fun for me. Was it easier for me this time. Honestly: YES. Why? Because I just happened to be around when the new eggs were released. So yes, I managed to catch a bunch of them. But this was also the very first time sine I started on DC that a release happened at a time I was able to be online. Usually they happen in the middle of the night for me. So I'm very fond of the unpredictability of unscheduled releases. Just because that way it's not always the same people that get the first chance. But once in a while, people in other time-zones get to get the first crack at it. Oh, and before you start. Catching rares is not something I'm good at. Yes, I have CB coppers, silvers and golds on my scroll. Only 2 of those I managed to catch myself. All the others (including a lovely neglected) I managed to get through trading with other people. And I did that without having low gen prizes or holly's on my scroll. So NO, it is not impossible to get CB rares through trading when you don't have rares yourself. All you have to do is keep trying And for those who maybe never realized this, something worth thinking about: TJ is not a god, you know. He's a human being, just like us; and just like us, he has other things in life to worry about. And that is something I realize and respect. I'm very grateful that he still finds the time and energy to do his very best to make as many people as possible happy. Even when most of the time, we keep complaining about things he should have done differently, or not have done at all. Or even by the ridiculous, but very true, fact that he was awake and doing something for the site, while we where sound asleep. And all the time TJ keeps dealing with it, he keeps working on it, and keeps putting up with us. And for that I really admire him; also because I don't think I would be able to do it as good as he does. And to finish: Thanks again TJ for the release and thank you spriters for the lovely eggs and hatchies. Looking forward to see what the adults will look like

I'm so happy these dragons are supposed to be bred. That gives us so much more possiblities. I only have one GoN for the moment, bred it with a Thunder, and got one of those gray eggs. And believe it or not: I traded it for my very first CB copper. And I don't have to worry about not being able to obtain more of these new eggs, I can just breed them whenever I want. Thank you, TJ, for a great B-Day present. I absolutly love the eggs and the hatchie sprites. Well done, artists. And btw, when I first saw the gray hatchie; I thought it was a T-Rex

First hatchi arrived. Time to hunt some more of these beauties
