iirc, stones are as big as mountains so they'd have to bigger than that if they are

Not sure if it is or not because it's a new mechanic, but Kymatumis haven't moved biomes for over 5 straight days

There's a theory that the last 3 are from the 4th egg (yellow) that is summonable by the first 3. Kinda like the Trio --> GON --> Avatar breeding mechanic

Any view stat will contribute, but you can get it sick much easier with little effort also using an autorefresher. if you do the normal route of just shoving it into a few hatcheries it will still take longer than doing the same thing than waiting 30min - 1 hour to autorefresh (FART tool is in the Site Tools subforums) as hatcheries do not typically max out OV:UV rates outside grabbing an ER egg from the AP and doing the same thing. For anyone that wants a VERY quick sick and safe egg: 1) Grab right away from biome 2) Immediately add to these hatcheries: Garden of Eden, Draghatch, Hatching Club, Allure of Neglecteds, and Silvi's. 3) Wait 30-45 minutes until egg has 40-50 UVs 4) Once egg has 40-50UVs use https://chazza.me/dc/auto-refresher input egg codes, type in 50 in instances, refresh interval to "adaptive", hit start. 5) Fog immediately after it turns (should turn within seconds of using the Autorefresher) and enjoy your egg whites Sickness mechanic is based on how fast your dragon hatch/egg receives views in relation to how young your dragon child is. The more views it accumulates in a short amount of time increases the chances of it getting sick. 40 UVs with maxed out OVs seems to generally be the threshold for **new** eggs (7d 0hr) in the first hourish of being caught of turning sick. It'll be a slight sickness so as long as you fog right after it turns there is no risk of death. This is relatively easy as you'll only spend about 3-5 minutes *actively* in total, 30-45+ minutes are passively just waiting for the right amount of UVs to accumulate before cooking them into an autorefresher. Likewise, if you wait to do it several hours or a day later upon catching/breeding it will take a much more massive amount of views to get sick, meaning more effort on your end to get a white egg. Alternatively, you can do all that without an autorefresher but it will take a lot more time to naturally get it sick and your risk for death is increased a lot more if you're not attentively watching your egg/hatch. These don't get sick easier than other eggs. There is always increased traffic flow to hatcheries meaning more views for your dragons during releases and holiday event weeks and dies down roughly a few days or so after each comes to a conclusion/flood length. Someone said their red jelly hatch turned white on Discord so it appears they work a bit like yellow sapphires, but requires the sickness mechanic vs 4k ovs.

Use an auto-refresher, FortyTwo has a good AR tool that lets you max out your egg's OVs quickly. Once a fresh egg caught in the biomes gets to about 40uvs, use an autorefresher to max the OV:UV to get the egg sick relatively fast. For those that are unaware, 15OVs:1UVs is the max ratio. Alternatively, if you don't want to use an autorefresher, you can just go to your scrollpage https://dragcave.net/user/[name here] and manually do it yourself, but FortyTwo's tool makes it take seconds instead of 10 minutes - hours (depending on when you do it and how many UVs your egg has ofc, SOONER the better).

Yay new Halloween!

I've had 5 deaths from newly hatched eggs before they turned 6d 23h. I will note that some users have incredible luck first turn luck whereas other users have really bad luck with dodges/deaths. I've had a drake dodge 5 times and a pygmy dodge 4, both of which were also freshly hatched.

Just an update to the spreadsheet, I added a Notes column since we are now having more non-standard moonblights mature. There is discussion about non-standard blights having the possibility of higher/lower chances of turn/kill rates so if you are cursing with a non-standard please note it if possible I will throw out there one of the other "theories" is that since standards had a 100% curse rates, we might have seen 100% turn rates with other non-standards within their own body types. I did just test out a pygmy moonblight vs pygmy and got a death first try so I will say that is safely debunked. But I will be looking to see if anyone has tried drake moonblight vs drake and twoheaded moonblight vs twoheaded and has gotten deaths so we can safely rule those ones out as well! Below is the pygmy moonblight killing its pygmy counterpart. EDIT: I will also be raising data entries to 300 (maybe even to 400 depending how fast entries are). Did not expect the excel to have so many entries so quickly. Thank you everyone for your contributions We got to ~170+ entries before the first recorded non-standard moonblights started cursing. Also take in light that it may not actually be 100% but is the case like Purple Fertility where there is an extreme low chance of failure. Since we may never have confirmation or hard numbers given and only have player data, it is much safer to say that is "extremely unlikely" a standard dragon would die to curse.

Because it messes with the 17th kill window, effectively halfing your kills if you've lost all your kills today. Kill 5 on 17th, kill another 5 on the 31st.

To add onto Purplehaze's comment, you will not have the adult pygmy sprite unlocked for awhile as people have just started getting their forms. If anyone is needing to unlock the other form encyclopedia entries, Lushwave added my excel sheet that has over 15+ of each of the other Moonblight forms compiled into it. You can unlock the encyclopedia with that alone and stalk it for a couple days to click on adults for the adult unlocks as well. Feel free to add your own data of success, but also add in any deaths you have as well as those are also important! I will be changing it to a "view-only" excel once we have 200 NR entries.

The Alpine/Forest one may be non-binary. These are both commons. Pink dino is a rare tho

TJ, thank you so much for extending the drop!

Happy 18th 🥳

Second this, there's even Discord and other options that notifies you of a new release. It's also pretty standard that a release will -usually- happen on the last 2 Saturdays of the month. Edit: Saturday Nights leading into Sunday* (AKA Sunday Midnights)

The egg designs are lovely!

I'm surprised not more people are enjoying Abyss Watchers. These are a unique take on horror that has finally branched into aquatics. It was quite the lovely surprise to see these grow into adults! For the longest time Shadow Walkers were my favorite Halloween breed but these have become a new Halloween favorite for me! I think maybe if there was a different color palette for these to fit a more "Halloween" palette it might have helped more people feel the Halloween-y vibes because I kinda see why people aren't feeling the Halloween-y vibes, but I am very happy with the deep pomegranate colors!

Are you still needing some drakes? I got a few yellows up on a 2-way to gift to people without one or a pair. If you happen to miss this message just send me a PM here and I'll make sure to help you out
