Improvement of Sorting Options

Before I say anything... This is a lot to ask for.

I know that dragon cave is a simple site,

but I thought a few additional options could come to handy.

 

My suggestions is to improve the sorting / custom sorting in several ways.

I've searched the suggestions forum and found 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 good suggestions about sorting.

A few of them are things I had in my own mind, or at least similar.

So, these are the things that could come to handy:

 

1] Layered Sort Options

For example, if you sort your dragons by Breed, but you have a lot of dragons from the same breed.

Now, what you want is, you want to sort these dragons with the same breed by date.

Layered sort options would make this possible. You could select like that:

Sort by Breed,

afterwards sort by Date.

I'd say a maximum of 3 layers would be okay, if there has to be a maximum.

 

2] Own Sort Option for Eggs and Unfrozen Hatchlings,

if "Place Eggs and Unfrozen Hatchlings on top"-box is checked

(This is kind of a layered sorting)

There is an own sort option for eggs and unfrozen hatchlings,

so you could sort them by date/name/growth/breed/color like all dragons.

 

3] When making a custom sort, the standard is your previous sort option

How it is now: You have your dragons sort by breed. Then, if you go to 'Custom Sort', you automatically have your previous custom sort order.

How it should be: You have your dragons sort by breed, Then, if you go to 'Custom Sort', you see your dragons sorted by breed, and you can change single positions.

 

4] Improved Custom Sorting by making it possible to

1. move more than one dragon at a time. (checkbox, Strg+click, ...)

2. pin/lock dragons (so they always stay in place)

3. save custom sorts (if you want to try a few things out for example)
