Raising a Guardian of Nature

Recommended Posts

My first one was easy to raise and I treated him like I would every other dragon. My second, however, refused to hatch and kept getting sick whenever I stuck her into an ER.

This is good to know, because it's only a few more days until I attempt my first summon... So it's all right to let them get a lot of views, then.

Well my first one just grew up a few days ago. I didn't have much of a problem with raising her sickness wise. Although I didn't place my egg into any hatchery until it was at 5days. Once she hit 3d23h I stuck her in 3 or 4 different ERs and it took another 3 hours to hatch (I was a bit amazed it took that long). She didn't gender until I placed her in ERs again when she was under 4d left to grow up, and then it took another 3 or 4 hours for her to mature.

Due to a recent Help question about GoNs, I thought I'd bring this back to the front page.

My second GoN has a lot less stressful than the first as I actually new about how many views/unique views it would need.

I got my GoN a few months back (I only have one - dont hate on me).

When I recall the rest of this thread (as I had read it some time before getting my GoN) and look at the stats on my baby, I see how easy I had it.

Hatcheries really really help. And people are way more inclined to click on a GoN egg or hatchie because they want to see the pretty rare shiny. I think the biggest issue is knowing the pace of hatcheries and clicks from their users and knowing at what pace to start adding it beyond the initial 1 or 2 you normally use. When I look back - 2 days to hatch - 3 days to adult ... Wow. That was way easier than what most seem to experience.

I don't believe either of mine got sick, but my mom's did. Other than that one fogging, they grew up normal. Over 8,000 views on one GoN on my scroll, and 10,000 for the second, I believe. Yeah, insane views I haven't seen since when I first joined the site.

I have been gone along time, so I have no clue what you all are talking about, but it really sounds like an interesting dragon, I have tried to get back onto my dragon page but am having no luck, so I guess my account is gone now sad.gif

I treated her pretty much like any other egg and she hatched uneventfully. I just made sure to check her a few times throughout the day and never saw her get sick as an egg or hatchling. The only time she was fogged was for a few hours immediately after hatching, to get her out of the ERs I used to hatch her more quickly. She was then re-listed in a single site after she hit 6 days and grew up just fine.

Hmmm....it's been awhile, but I don't recall either GoN getting sick. One grew up in 6 days, the other in 7 days:

They have more views than most of my eggs, but I attribute that to the rarity of the eggs.

Both of my GoN never got sick. And neither of them needed more V/UV/C than any other of my dragons.

I don't remember if both of mine got sick or not. I think only one of them did. XD Mostly, I fogged mine until they became an ER and then put them on the hatcheries (like one or two of them).

Here are the stats for both of them. :)

All I remember doing with my GoN girl is putting her into a hatchery or two when she was a day old, and that was that. No sickness, no stubborness, she just hatched like any other egg would. smile.gif

I didn't really give my two GoNs special care either...it took me what felt like an eternity to get the first one, so the excitement about getting one was kinda gone, lol. I just did the same as I did with all my other eggs, I kept it fogged after I got it, unfogged it when it got under 5 days or so...not sure, put it into the ER later, and fogged it when it hatched...did the same again then for it as hatchling. It didn't get sick at all, none of the two got sick.

I had finally summoned one but it died so quickly I feel kinda cheated out of it. Now I'm not sure but if someone could tell me if I successfully summon another one and it grows that would mean I only get one.

I have not been trying for a second one, honestly. x3 I may start again after I decide on which of these new release dragons I will be hoarding collecting.
