Yeah, same here, that's why I'm not too worried about my future ATM. X3 I have my mind pretty set on writer, though.

Well

I would love to become an artist.

I want to travel.

So... When I get enough money and I'm old enough, I'm getting a RV and leaving.

I need to know how I could make money on the road though... I don't plan on staying in one place for too long, so I can't really work at a store or anything. And I suck at math so no jobs involving too much of that please.

And I don't think being an artist and selling my work would pay for food and gas.

So... I need something else I could do while on the road...

IDK what.

But

I WILL travel to... Far away places. ONE DAY.

I WILL.

...

Now Srsbzns:

I'm 20 and I achieved my goal.

Financial Stability.

BUT I am studying the field of Microelectronics in college. laugh.gif

As for Art, a hobby, please.

I want to enjoy it, but not be dependent on it. wink.gif

LOL, I've now decided on my future career. xd.png

Naw, at the moment, I'd like to pursue an artistic career. This year I'm starting creative studies college to major in Entertainment Arts (meaning I'd graduate being able to animate for movies/video games/etc.). But honestly, I don't know exactly what branch of art I want to go into. Or if art really IS the career field I want to go into. But my parents are really pushing me to make a final decision right now, it's quite stressful. =/

What do I want to do once I leave school?

Move over to my GF's town and get a job there. If all goes well I'll be married. If that plan fails that get enough money to move to my dads and get a job and take it from there.

Both jobs seem to be leaning towards either computer tech or auto tech things.

Completely unrealistic; synchronized swimmer. Slightly more plausible; dancer.

Though I highly doubt any of those will ever happen.

For a long time I wanted to be a vet. Of course, I'm alergic mad.gif

I've also wanted to work with special needs kids. Though as I'm getting older, I'm begging to see how much work my sister is, and however mean and selfish it sounds, I only want that stress in one aspect of my life. So I think that's been scratched to.

Currently I'm leaning towards something biology-based (Genetics and forensics!) or journalist. Or something to do with the UN.

I've always wanted to be a writer, but that would be more a of a hobby than a career because it's hard to make lots of money off of literature. Unless you're like JK Rowling.

I've been told I'd be good in the health career...not sure what that means, since blood kind of freaks me out. But my mom says I'll grow out of it.

I'll never be a vet. I love animals, but I can't be the one to bear bad news. I just can't stand seeing hurt cats, sick dogs, dying pets.

I don't give much thought to my future occupations. What do I want to do? What will I be good at? What will I enjoy? I'd be content with a vast spectrum of things- from teacher to lawyer to writer to doctor.

What do I want to do? ....I don't know.

I'd like to write, but because being an author doesn't guarantee a lot of money, I'm also considering being a teacher or editor. (There's only so much you can do with an English degree.)

What I would WANT to do: act. I'm great at it, I love it, and I'd be happy doing it for the rest of my life. More film/TV actor than theatre actor, though.

What I will probably end up doing: dentistry.

Oh, dreams.

I'm thinking about sculpting, something along the lines of biology or biotechnology, or writing. Right now, cuz I'm a freshman in highschool, i randomly sell hot glue creatures. The big ones usually go for about $8. Not exactly sure what I'll do when I get older, though.

Same here. I love writing and would love to just be able to do that full-time, but it's not exactly realistic...

When I was a kid I wanted to be a jockey. ... We went to a lot of horse races. Unfortunately I am now too tall and way too heavy.

My dream-job, well, dream-life, is to own an animal sanctuary for the more exotic animals that most places don't take in... snakes, alligators, seals, whatever. Nurse them to health, give them tons of love and care... Oh, and this will take place on a huge private property with tons of room for all the animals and a small cozy cabin for me.

..... I can dream.

I'm one of those crazy people out there who want to work with children. Some people may know us as teachers. I specifically want to work with the ones that have behavior issues or are autistic. Also I want to get my children's books published because they mean a lot to me because they are based off of experiences I had when I was quite young and could have really used the lessons I want to present in those books.

I've sort of gotten over finding my dream job that ticks all the boxes and fulfils me as a human being and provides me with ultimate happiness and all that stuff you're supposed to want. I just want a job that I can do without too much of a struggle. I'll look for meaning elsewhere in my life...

I'm studying Translation and Psychology, my parents want me in Law.

However, I'd love to open/work at a little pastry shop somewhere and make desserts all day. Maybe when I retire. :<

Army reserves. I've gotten first-hand accounts for what's involved, thanks to having family and friends in the military, and it sounds like something that could actually work out very well for someone like me. It'll still be a few years before I can really consider it, but here's hoping.

Plus, I could keep up my writing on the side smile.gif I've never expected that to be something I can make a living off of, but I do want to try and get something published one day. ... and I mean actually published, no self-marketing crap.

I'm currently starting our Medical Laboratory Science program at my uni. It's going to be HARD, and it isn't my dream job, but my dream is to not have to work and be able to volunteer/raise guide dog puppies for the rest of my life, hehe.

I'm 18 at the moment (will be 19 in a few months - scary! ohmy.gif ) and I've just started at Uni. (Hooray for Freshers Week!)

The course I'm going to be studying is called Energy Science and Technology. For a while, my ambition was to get to Uni and study something Physics related. I find nuclear/nano physics (like atoms etc.) fascinating, but my thoughts were that society is in dire need of alternative energy sources, and I've always been concerned about the environment, and I can probably do more (crucial) good as an energy physicist than as a nano physicist.

I've worked hard to get here (had to commute to college last year - not fun!) and I'm pleased with how well I did in my exams. I even managed to beat my target grades!

Some sort of research and development job would be nice. I might do a post-grad to become more specialised, but that's about four years away, so I'll think about that later.

Right now I have to focus on finding ways to connect with people without drinking lots of alcohol and being dragged round clubs that only play the more popular tunes.
