BEYBLADE!

SO YEAH.

 

I used to be all over Beyblade back in...what was it, sixth grade for me? So that'd be... erm..six or seven years. Something like that. o _O Anyways, I adore it so much. I used to go onto the Beyblade website and chat and roleplay original characters and their blades.

 

Anyways, I notice this new season of 'blades is on. At first I was excited, but after watching two episodes, I was like, "WTF?" They totally changed the style of the bit beasts! D: (Which were my favorite part....) But, one thing I do like about it is that the main protagonist's bit beast (although I'm not sure they're even bit beasts anymore, they're probably just like Blade Spirits or something...) is a Pegsus. |D I thought that was rad and totally gay.

 

Still a little annoyed with the whole set up, though. :/ The way the pictures of the beasts on the blades looks weird, and the voices of the characters.... omg. I want to shoot them D: The blades look somewhat cool, but the whole bit beast thing really damped things for me. ; _; And yet, now I have a terrible bout of nostalgia.

 

Anyways, discuss! Your love for the old seasons and custom blades you made/ fantasized. I actually have about twenty of my own blades that I bought, and I'm super bummed you can't buy them at like target and whatnot any more. Hopefully with the return of the show they'll be available, but more than likely just the newer ones which have probably been altered like crazy. (Ever watch the show Bakugan? They have all sorts of weird now... I hope that doesn't happen to the blades. I hope they keep at least some of the original make-up to them!)

 

I'll miss Driger for sure. , _,

Oh, what else pisses me off is that I visited the Beyblade site, but they don't have forums anymore! D< So I can't go and chat with my super old friends and try to dig up memories of the old Beyblade... >> -sigh-

 

 

 

So my character, anyways, goes like this:

Her name was Aryana, and her blade was a gold and white balance blade with the bit beast Acio, the thunder dog. >:3

That's all I can remember, though. Hahahaha. I might try and draw it sometimes, because I miss it super bad~

My cousin Aaron-Samuel and I had like a collection together and we would always go out in the street and challenge other kids with our epic ones.

We were so cool. lD

 

I might check out the new season... And I hope the toys return like the old ones. Those were cool.

Oh, bummer~ They were such fun! :3 Beyblade is the only thing I've ever loved more than Pokemon. Like, I used to cry because I wanted my own blade so bad.

Edit: Epicnessss. It really sucked because there was no one even remotely my age that had blades to battle me D: So I made my mom battle with me, hahaha. And then I moved and my moms were supposed to have this friend with kids who had like, a hundred or them or something (/exaggeration) and I was so excited...but I never met them. :< So I've actually never battled against someone else before... >>

I would go, announce how I taught my cousin everything he knows, proceed to fail badly, and they'd get some of our blades.

My cousin would then 'shyly' go ahead and beat them so bad we managed to win back triple the stuff we lost. x3

 

...We were evil little kids. >_>

 

I'm almost positive that my cousin still has some in his closet somewhere, as I probably still do. If they get the toys in stores again, I'm totally going to start playing again.

...No hustling this time, though. >________>

At least you got to battle someone D: I only ever got to use my blades, half of which sucked and were only good for minuscule parts. >>

 

Oh , what was that Phoenix's name? Kai's bit beast? I know the four main guys' bits started with a D...

Let's see, there was Ty's Dracoon, Ray's Driger, the blonde kid's turtle, and Kai's Phoenix.

Damn >< I have the "dark" phoenix one, and I always used that bit beast chip. And my best blade was a combination of two different Driger blades. |D I have this picture from hella long ago that I printed out of a blade that I wanted SO BADLY. It was that wolf one... >>

 

 

Yeah, if the toys come out, I'll start up again. One of my friends used to like them, apparently, so he'll probably buy some too and I'll beat his butt >D Bwuahahaha. I just hope the new parts will be interchangeable with the old ones, so they'll be eepppiiccc.

Due to my brother's obsession with it, I automatically had to watch the show too. I still have all mine, I had that purple one, and then I got a Dranzer My brother's obsession with Beyblade actually got to the extent that he had a pine bey-stadium sculpted and whittled professionally for him. My little purple beyblade always went around the edges of that one X3

 

There was also a time where my brother made a film with him and his friends - we watched it the other day, more than 6 years later. I LOL'D. But yeah, no-one ever played beyblade with me, so I just spun mine inside of an old wok. I didn't get my own stadium ;_;

I have two of my own stadiums, one travel one with neat little compartments and another plastic one that I always failed in. It had pockets that my blades would get stuck in and die...

OMFG. Do you guys remember in Li's old team, there was this big guy who had a beyblade which was red and HAD FRIGGIN PARTS THAT SPUN AROUND, UNDER THE WEIGHT?!

I remember when I started getting into beyblade, it was starting to die out. And there was this other thing that had just come out that was so similar to it, only with the use of metal balls or something (no, it wasn't Bakugan.) I remember being so mad at them, I told my mom I was going to buy every single last one of them and burn them all. >D

And then she was like, "But then you'd be giving money to them." And I was like, "Oh, fine. >>"

 

I can't wait to get some new blades! 8D

 

Edit: But, I'm a little apprehensive of the new bit beast thing going on. As far as I heard from the show, they don't even call them bit beasts. And the creatures don't come out all epically and battle, they just randomly appear when attacking. :< And the stickers for them on the bit chips look really stupid >[

Dranzer... My cousin had like 10 of those. I had only a few of the main guys' bit beasts... The others were ones I thought looked pretty (I was like 6, okay?). >_>

Hahahaha. I've been watching the first seasons episodes all night. <3 And before that I was playing with my own blades... I love my Driger <3

 

I have a lot of Dranzers too! ^ _^ And a Dragoon, and a Strata Dragoon. Oh, and the turtle's name is Draciel. I have one of those, two. And some Ram thing called a White Gabriel. I have a Black Dranzer, but it totally sucks as a real-life blade D:

My endurance Dranzer and Driger are my best :3 I had an offensive Driger, but I can't find the attack ring... ;_;

 

Oh well, off to watch some more beyblade~! ^^

I'M SUCH A DORK.

 

I was so hyped on nostalgia last night that I pulled out my beyblades and constructed my best one. Then I took off all the stickers and custom painted it. Hahahaha~! Then I drew the bit beast for it, although it's not that Thunder Dog I was talking about earlier. It's like a Thunder Phoenix instead :3 I shall post pictures when I can get them up here!

I remember playing with them because my brother used to play with them too.... about five years from now. Or six.

And I would give you black Dranzer, except the attack ring is broken. Like, cracked in half. I tried to fix it with super glue today, but when I used it the entire thing like exploded. x _x

I love it when I battle my blades and one of them explodes 8D Although I got hit in the face with the metal weight (owww...) but it's still cool.

 

These things are so damn destructive, my goodness...

 

Oh, and my cat tried to eat my custom-painted blade. I was thinking about calling it Dranzer Royale, since the bit that I drew (Which I might have up in the next few days) is fairly similar to Dranzer. And I was thinking, since there's a Strata Dragoon, why not another Dranzer-type? x3
