I'm not sure of the exact number but by looking at past posts, I think it is something around 90 to 110.

I'm not sure on the number of splashes either. I just kept it up everyday that I could. By the time I got it, I had 9 Shallow Waters to splash with.

It'd be nice if someone who hasn't started Splashing yet could keep track.

I'd definitely gift them as many Shallows as I could breed.

I read somewhere in this games walkthrough that if used about 200 times, splash will get u a medal on ur scroll

I didn't count how many it took me to get mine but I think 151 would be really cool.

There are some other people who are still splashing after they got their badge, but I have not seen where any of them get anything else. Still it can't hurt.
