Hmm anyone have any tips for GAINING weight?

I've lost a lot of weight and I haven't really been eating much at all and it's worrying. Anything I could eat that's not absolutely unhealthy but can help me gain maybe 10 lbs? I weight around 105 right now and I'm 5'3". My bmi is like, 18.6 and anything below 18.5 is considered underweight, I don't want to lose too much or anything.

I used to have to go on a supplement called Scandishake - it effectively gave me all the calories I needed in one day, but I had to take vitamin supplements. It worked quite well for me, although I didn't gain as much as I should because I was eating less and less at the time.

Make sure to eat at least something at each meal time, and maybe try snacking throughout the day?

That sounds about right to me. That's about the exact same as me. You shouldn't put too much stock into BMI anyway, it isn't really good for that sort of thing. If a doctor hasn't ever brought it up, then it isn't a problem.

I'm unsure of my eyes' shape. They have a slightly upward slant at the upper corner, do not look prominent or that round but a tiny bit of my eye whites are visible under my iris at times when I'm looking at a normal facial angle in the mirror. Here is a video which determines one's eye shape:

and another link: http://www.youbeauty.com/face/eye-shapes

IDK if just cos there is a little bit of eye white under my pupils, my eyes are considered round. At certain times of the day, my eye whites do not show below my pupils. O_o

Any idea what is my exact eye shape?

No - but why does it matter ? They look like eyes. Time to worry when they don't xd.png

I've been told to only take the ACT twice, but shouldn't i take it multiple time to improve my score?

I think your eye has hooded eyelids/monolid/hooded, for your eye shape, I'd say you have an almond eye. Even though the corners of your eye can be upturned, they are mostly even or downturned, and I think since you can't see your eye whites all the time, we should assume that it's not round.

Hope I helped xd.png Still, you are beautiful no matter what eye shape you have!

Well they can see how many times you take it, so it starts to get a little pointless eventually. You start sending the wrong message. Personally I took it once.

I took the ACT twice and my score was exactly the same each time. I don't know anyone who took it multiple times and had their score drastically increase. Unless you really bomb it both times, just study well, get some sleep, eat a good breakfast, and knock the test out on the first run. =3

Absolutely agree with this. Please do not base any opinion of your weight/body image on BMI. It's been disproven in effectivity in multiple ways and it really bothers me that doctors even still bring it up. =_=

If you're really worried you're unhealthy, you should look at your lifestyle - activity and diet - what you eat more than how much you eat. I will say to make sure you are eating enough fruit, though.

They both mean the same thing, just different ways of wording it.

One might sound better depending on the context it's used in, but overall there's not much beyond that. I've seen them used interchangeably plenty of places, so even if there is a difference it's more of a technical one than one used all the time.

You know the "Peter Piper picked a peck of pickled peppers" tongue twister? What's the answer to that?

There is none. It's just a tongue twister.

Never knew that... Our teacher asked that as a grade decider.

There's this statue in London of a woman and a lion beside her. Is that Britannia?

For Americans, do you still use the one dollar bill? Is it still in circulation? Or are you using just the coins? Or perhaps both still?

I am simply curious. Nothing more. It's just that I think it's impractical to have two forms for one denomination and I'd like to know the reasoning behind it. In China, we also have bills and coins for 1 yuan but the bills are more dominant. At least, I see it most of the time.

Of course. Dollar coins are not common in the slightest. Though dollar coins exist, they aren't kept in the registers of stores or commonly kept in people's wallets, either. So you don't really have much of a choice. The rest of the coins are for denominations smaller than a dollar.

That explains why I haven't seen one in actual. I have a collection of US coins, one of each. Well, except for said dollar. And since they're in circulation still, I need NOT fear of having it exchange sooner. tongue.gif I got some few dollars that I wish I could change to Peso. I never been to the US and don't think I will even though I do want (sometimes). They're simply remnants of my father's business and trips. (I got some ringgits and other currencies from when he went to Malaysia and Thailand.)

Thanks, 7Deadly$ins!

I'm in the same project group as my crush's best friend. Me and my crush like each other but things between us are awkward. My crush's best friend also likes me and knows of our crush but I don't feel the same way.

On one of the weekends, me and my crush's friend were keying in the slides for our upcoming presentation. I accidentally touched his hand because it was in the way. He was grinning away at the incident.

After an hour or so, my crush arrived at the scene and his friend was done with the slides. Before both of them left, my crush's friend randomly stacked my books on the table and asked me if I wanted to come along in front of my crush. I declined due to the awkwardness between me and my crush and my crush looked upset during our conversation. I thought that would be affecting their friendship? Was he mocking me and my crush?

My eyes are a little wide set(intercanthal distance more than my eye width); the distance between the tear ducts is 3.3cm. I want to shift my eyes closer together(not relying on makeup) till they are proportioned(intercanthal distance one eye width). Are there surgery or procedures to decrease intercanthal distance?

Did you ever figure it out? D:

Maybe try a different angle? Google's reverse image search didn't bring up anything that even looked similar and I've got absolutely no idea.

This really sounds like something you should be talking with your parents and a doctor about.

CALLING ALL VIOLINISTS

So, I've been playing violin for almost 4 years. I started out in a public school program, and last year I won a scholarship for free violin lessons. I do three octave scales a bit messily, am in suzuki book 4, kinda know most of my positions but am not really comfortable playing in a few of them, and am working on viotti's concerto number 23 to get into a really good orchestra. Is this normal for a violinist who has played 4 years? If not, what is? (preferably people who learn in traditional or half traditional/suzuki style, full out suzuki students learn way too differently from me to understand)
