- Tiktotism - Scroll with the most codes that spell out words: Egg Drop Soup only gives me 3 codes, so I really need to sit down with a dictionary to check these. For example I can find no meaning for the word 'Loos'.

Lol. My scroll was out of its custom sort; you only would have picked up the most recent items. As I said, EDS stops checking after 3k dragons.

I resorted my scroll and took full-page screencaps of the EDS tool lists with forward and reverse sorts to catch everything.

Gigantic image one.

Gigantic image two.

If you can keep track of any new codes you get and your scrollname is displayed on the dragons' pages, we can check the record even if the EDS tool stops cooperating. Only it will take more time to check xd.png I've added your record.

Do you know, it took me an entire day to work out loos is plural of loo, not a misspelling of the verbs loose or lose. In my defence, I'm not a native speaker xd.png It's not a word that pops up in academic reading, lol.

Lineages:

- Longest purebred even-gen Serragamma lineage: 'The Wicked Lineage' http://dragcave.net/lineage/TNmMo alliana1, 7th gen

- Longest purebred Serragamma lineage: 'The Wicked Lineage' http://dragcave.net/lineage/TNmMo alliana1, 7th gen

- Longest purebred even-gen Pygmy lineage: 'The GinbreAd Lineage' http://dragcave.net/lineage/vzEl8 georgexu94 5th gen

- Longest even gen Purebred (silver): http://dragcave.net/lineage/R9bij aqua17 (scrollname Aquamyrine), 7th gen

- Longest even gen Purebred (gold): http://dragcave.net/lineage/tHpJb Becka (scrollname *Becky*), 6th gen

- Longest Purebred Dorsal Lineage: http://dragcave.net/lineage/ye09C Tiga, 6th gen

- Longest Purebred Dorsal Even Gen Lineage: http://dragcave.net/lineage/ye09C Tiga, 6th gen

Naming records:

- dirtytabs - Breeder with most unnamed frozen hatchlings: submitted for most unnamed frozen hatchlings but seems you meant named frozen hatchies. Counted 95 named hatchies.

Rejected:

- Breeder with the most Halloween 2010 - Black Marrow dragons: thenameisplissken, 158; beaten by Zzelabusya, who has 173

- Breeder with the most Mint dragons: Lagie, 725: beaten by FortyTwo, who has 829

Pending:*

New records:

- tjekan - Prize dragon with the most fails in a row: new record, conferring with other mods before adding. Btw, you have really bad luck xd.png

- Belisar - Breeder with the most frozen Balloon Hatchlings: new record, conferring with other mods before adding.

Other reason:

- FortyTwo - Breeder with the most Zombie dragons: zombies weren't visible at the time of this update.

- Undertow - Couple with the most purebred offspring: I have yet to come up with a reliable method of counting these. The EATW Progeny tool does not go beyond 6th gen and doesn't give the number for the generations it does show.

- Carstella - Longest Purebred Lineage-White Dragons and Longest Even Gen Lineage Overall; I was pretty certain inbreeding was not allowed for longest lineage records but can't find it in the rules. Allowing inbreeding makes achieving a high even-gen infinitely easier so I'd like to check.

- Hydrargum - longest purebred even gen gilded bloodscale: http://dragcave.net/lineage/WlGoC, 5th gen: dragon submitted is a frozen hatchie and hatchies are generally excluded from records, I'll ask the other mods if it's okay.

*These records require some form of further action before they can be checked / approved. Once I've updated up to p. 114 I'll send a list of the new categories of records to the other mods to check whether they're fine with adding them.

Think that's all I've been waiting to submit. Working on my pb black teas again, so hoping to steal that lineage as well. ;3

And while I'm posting, I'd just like to bring up this suggestion again: Actually, I also have another suggestion. May I suggest merging Lineages - Longest Purebred, Longest PB Stairstep, and Longest PB Spiral into Purebred Lineages - Other. A lot of the longest stairs, steps, and evens end up being the longest pb, too. And there are a lot of pb stairs and such that are listed under longest pb but not under longest stair. I think it might be a little neater just to have the even gen and other. That way even gens, stairs, and spirals are only listed in one place (rather than two if they are also the longest pb there). The stair and spiral categories are rather small, anyway, so I think this could help make the records cleaner/more organized. ^^

And adding: I think it just makes things messy to have so many categories. It's messy for the list and for submitters. I mean, I just submitted the same exact lineage for two (twice! I did it for two lineages), which I find a bit busy to submit and to list. It'd be a lot easier to look through things if it was just even gens and other.

Spirals is a small category, so even if the merging isn't something everyone agrees with, do we really need a spiral category?

It would be a bit of work to go through and sift through and organize the records, but as mentioned, a lot of the longest pb is just dupes of what's in other categories, anyway. I'd be willing to help out with the merge IF people are for it. ^^

Aaaand if I may throw in my voice on accepting inbred lineages for longest lineages - I'm hesitant of that myself because inbreeding it can cut down a lot of the work of grabbing and trading for lineages. As someone who has several inbred lineages going on, there is frustrating in checkers in trying to get the right breed and you only have one pair to try each, so that makes things long, but pbs are a little different.

And finally, this:

Btw, you have really bad luck

made me giggle. xD But concurring! *sends good breeding vibes tjeken's way*

I agree, Stairstep and Spiral have only a few entries each. Though it's sad for the current record holders there isn't much point in keeping them. Also, I'd love to move the longest PB overall and longest even-gen to different posts to make updating easier (rather than double-checking I'm editing the right section of the post).

I'm making a to-do-list of stuff I'd like to confer with the other two active mods, I don't like overhauling the thread when I've only just joined as a mod, better have some concensus.

And an announcement: LumosSeeker148 has joined as a mod!

Edit: I've shuffled the posts a bit, longest lineage overall is in one post and the Stair, Spiral and Even-Gen in the next.

I can't give page location because I dunno how many dragons per page you have. But they're right in the front, below the 2Gs from Spriter's Alts (don't forgot to include the two in the Spriter's alt section, there's one from Penk and Jewel)

You would post what you have your scroll pages set to, and what pages you see them on. For example, set your scroll pages to 200 or 500 and then list what pages it makes your dragons show up on. Then the person counting and checking can set their scroll pages the same way and find what you are directing them to.

Oh, well in that case, they're on page one with 200 dragons per page.

If anyone wants to submit a record that consists of numerous different sprites, please have them grouped together or give an indication where they are. Otherwise we have to check the lineage page of every single dragon you have, which I can guarantee you is no fun with several thousand dragons that may or may not be part of the record. We have lives outside DC you know wink.gif What might also help is some sort of marker in their names, so we know we only have to check the lineage page of those dragons and not of all your dragons.

I'll add this more clearly to the FAQ to avoid confusion. smile.gif

I really appreciate the job you are doing in taking on this thread, and verifying all these records. It is truly a massive undertaking to keep this thread going, and you doing a wonderful job with it. wub.gif I know you had a monumental job in counting the dragons on my scroll, and I hope the method I presented was a help to you.

They are scattered through my scroll, but I use ctrl+F, and highlight all the 0s to scroll down the Click column on each page. I have to watch that I don't count the 10s, 20s and 30s, since there are a few among the Clicks. I hope this helps. It would take me a very long time to do if I need to group them all, then sort them all back to their proper places.

It will work for other records only if the identifier is in the same location as you are scrolling down the page, but I know mine would be a total nightmare if not for this method. wink.gif

In your case I just copy-pasted the entire scroll and deleted all columns apart from clicks, otherwise it would count zero's in the UV/V as well. Crashed Excel a few times in the process xd.png But after deleting all the tens etc. I think I got all the zero's, lol.

Also, your record did not include clicking the dragon's page then clicking again to reach the lineage page, which takes considerably more time than assessing info all on one page.

Edit: Updated the FAQ with:

- For records that consist of numerous sprites (for example “most of X lineage” or “most hatchlings”), please have some method by which we can identify them on your scroll, e.g. group them together, have a marker in their names to point them out or give an indication where in your scroll they can be found (by telling on which page of your scroll they can be found and how many dragons per page you have set). This helps us tremendously. This does not apply for single breed records; we count the number of times the sprites appear on the scroll using page source.
